How do I save the files from my CD's to my computer? Can I? Is there some kind of program I gotta get?<br />

<p>Just open up your CD in the Windows Explorer (D: or E: or whatever it may be) and copy the files, then paste them where you want them to go on your harddrive.</p>

<p> </p><p>if it's a CR-ROM, what satcam said -- i'd just add that you should create a [$user] folder under the [C:]drive, and build your folder structure there ... (it'll help with back-ups and general file management)</p><p>if it's a music CD, you'll need to get a ripper/decoder program</p>

<p>Ripping music off a music cd can be done in windows media player, winamp, and probably itunes.</p>

<p><font color="#990000" size="2">Yeah, iTunes is the answer for Music CD's and importing the songs onto your computer if you don't really know what you're doing. iTunes is VERY easy to use and free.</font></p><p><font color="#990000" size="2">For Data Files, just drag and drop. If you can see the files on your monitor, highlight them with your mouse and drag them to where you'd like them to be (Desktop, a folder, etc). If you don't see the files, just open "My Computer", right-click on the CD drive and choose "explore"</font></p><p> <a href="http://www.xmradio.com/"><img src="http://scripts.cgispy.com/image.cgi?u=skw" border="0" /></a></p>
