I don't know if I'll wear a party hat, perhaps a fez. But I will definitely raise a glass tonight.I do have to give thanks to O&A for fighting to bring the show to a national level. At the end of the day all complaints about O&A aside (for those who live to complain about them) no one can deny that O&A did good and made the case that their show deserves a bigger audience. If people want to argue they had a bigger audience on WJFK, the point I'm making is that if O&A were on teresstrial radio in the same postion I have no doubt at all that they would fight to have Ron and Fez on with them there as well.

But seriously...Given that O&A have not done that many events in New York city, (when was the last live show?  St. Pat's?) I'm not sure what's going on.  Granted, Ron and Fez's core was in NYC... What they are going to need is a promotions director for 202.I wonder - do they still have access to the BIG ASS CARD member database?  The one they sent the goodbye email through when they left WNEW?  If so, they should take full advantage of that to whore themselves out and alert people they are coming to XM.

Someone still has access to that database because a friend of mine and I, both big ass card holders, recently got spam'd for a local long island theatre even of some sort.. exact same style as the old appearance emails we used to get for Ron and Fez big ass mailings, and when I replied to it asking if they stole the R&F mailing list they admitted to it. Can't wait for Ron and Fez to be back!!!-Keith

It means that the Oracle forum used be called "Ask The Horde King"...unfortunately, there was a series of disagreements (doesn't that sound civil?) between several posters here that ultimately ended up with some of them deciding to no longer post on the board, including the aforementioned Horde King.  When it became clear he wasn't going to be here to answer questions asked of him, the mods (which HK once was) decided to change the name of the forum.In theory, people can still go there to hopefully find answers for their random questions about...stuff...but really, it's not the same since there's no one source of knowledge.Me, I'd like HK back or Mike Teacher to become the guru of, well, everything...but until they or someone of similar singular knowledge starts giving us the answers we all crave, sadly, "The Oracle" it shall remain.Personally, I'm still more broken up over the loss of "Billy Staple's Confessional" than anything else.
