View Full Version : I don't know how to Dance!!
I'm going to a wedding on saturday with my girlfriend and I know I'm
going to be expected to dance. I've never danced before and I'm a
little worried. I hate looking like a fool. What should I do?!? Any
advise?
Watch the movie Hitch and see the scene where he's telling Kevin James the do's and don'ts of how to dance in public setting.

dancers. Audition to Britney's most popular songs to see if you can
keep up with the other dancers. If you're really good, you'll get
access to exclusive video footage and concert footage. Only the best
dancers will get to join Britney on stage. Includes your favorite
Britney songs like Oops, I Did It Again, Baby One More Time, her latest
hit, I'm a Slave 4 U, and more.

IT'S SOOO GREAT!!

What you need and what you get are 2 different things. You want advice on getting coordination in a few days? You've had years to learn how to dance.

Ride the side of the dance floor, lay low and drink heavily.

Do yourself a favor and be able to dance on your wedding day. I have the coordination of a hammer and was asked by my wife to leave the dance floor, as I was screwing up the electric slide. We danced our first dance together and she kept reminding me that she wasn't supposed to be leading. I didn't know the difference, and still don't . Oddly enough, that was five years ago and we can now laugh and howl over it in retrospect. We never attemp[ted dancing again though. it's not worth the humiliation for me. Good luck to you, and may you learn from my oversight of never learning to dance.

my wife doesn't either bother me about dancing at weddings anymore. at first i would just try to drink a ton early and that way she didn't want me out there and then once she actually did see me out on the floor she didn't want anyone to know i was her husband. i'm the worst...though i think i do a good sprinkler and lawnmower dance.

i actually took a ball room dancing class at college...not by choice, but i needed one credit and it was the only class available during winter session. i was nervous going to that class everytime. i was so bad. i learned a few things, but just couldn't execute them. and after about 2 days i had forgotten all i learned. so i can't even pretend to know what i'm doing....i did pass though.
