How long do we stay logged in?

<p>I'll post in a thread, then navigate away from this site for a long time.&nbsp; When I return and want to respond again, sometimes I will be signed in and sometimes I won't.&nbsp; Also, it seems that if I keep checking the site for updates during the night, I stay signed in.</p><p>Just wondering how it works, and how long the site lets me stay signed in after I no longer show activity.&nbsp; Not very interesting I know, just a question.&nbsp; I'm curious.</p>
