<p> As far as R&F working clean or dirty, as Mojo
mentioned - they don't work blue and don't have to. Where they WILL
have freedom with XM, however, is that they won't have to stress it
with their guests or callers. Also, they won't have to edit music for
bumpers (Johnny got a surprise last week when he threw in an uneditted
for radio track). And they might be able to do some more adult oriented
segments without fear of the FCC - not necessarily "blue," but more
adult.</p>
<p><em>Which is funnier, btw? "Big Old Titties" or "Tig Old Bitties?" Hmm? Hmmmmm?</em></p>
<p>R&F
are all about the comedy. That's what sets them among everyone else
doing this - they are professional comedians with the sharpest comedic
minds anywhere.</p>
<p>I really want to echo what High Fly wrote below -
I am so gratetful for their 5-6 years of being on WJFK; I am happy they
spent half that time actually here, locally, where I had the
opportunity to meet them, and make friends with other listeners. But it
does hurt - it really does. I am very happy for them, and have only
wanted what was best for them, but I'd be lying if I said that I
wouldn't miss them down the road from me in good ol "Tootheless"
Fairfax. </p>
<p> These things can't go on forever, tho. Radio is
maybe the most unreliable employer anywhere. It sounds like, though,
that they finally have a boss that has confidence in them to really
support them, which is awesome. <br />
