I've had so many different jobs in my short working life that starting at a new one doesn't phase me anymore.

Is it just that you get like this starting any new job or is this a really good job that you hope you keep for awhile?

Browntown, don't sweat it. I started a new gig about a week ago and while the first few days are awkward, you'll work yourself in fine. It'll be normal to think that "Jeez, everyone knows more than I do" because it's true. But you'll know as much as them eventually. You can't take it all in the first day, let alone the first week. They call it ramping up for a reason.

Smile a lot. Be polite. Keep your mouth shut and your ears open for the first week or so to get the lay of the land and you'll be fine.

Good luck, you'll do fine.

I'm about a month in to my new job and I'm finally getting the swing of things. I've got a "routine" which makes it much easier and look, I'm even slacking off already!

Anyhow, James gave some great advice. Mouth closed ears open is the way to go, helps you to pick up on the stuff no one will acutally tell you.

Good luck!
