Politicians have been saying some really stupid
things for really my whole life, but lately the quanitity and
horridness of these gaffes have picking up. S rather than start a new
thread everytime it happens, we can put it here. And I'll start it off
with one that is about as stupid as it gets from about every
conceivable angle:

Colorado representative says we can bomb Mecca.
Let me clarify this. I'm not talking about
grammatical flubs like the ones Bush says all the time. I;m talking
about statements where the substance of it is either stupid or
incredibly offensive. Like speculating about bombing Mecca, or Dean's
"I hate all Republicans," or Rove's "Liberals want to give terrorists
therapy," or anything that comes out of Rick Santorum's
mouth.

Papi, he love you!
