O&A played a Guns N Roses/Beatles Mashup yesterday and Ron was rocking out to Sweet Child O Mine last week, and that got me thinking of how great they were about 15-20 years ago. I went to the offical web site and saw that there was no news. Let's not let nostalgia get us carried away. GnR were a lot of fun, and a good, enjoyable band. But I'm not gonna say great.

G&R Lies was a good album and I also liked the cover album The Spagetti Incident.  But I'm so sick of Appetite.  Mostly thanks to every f'n bar jukebox in the free world.

never bought anything of theirs but enjoyed the radio hits. the best thing i heard from 'moreso Axl' was when he performed with Tom Petty on Free Fallin. I believe it was the Atlantic Records 40th Anniversary special but not absolutely sure...

I personally thought Appetite was, and still is, one of the greatest Rock albums in the last 20 years!We just had a "Guy's Night Out" last weekend. My man punched up this record on the MP3 boombox and GODDAM!! It's still got it! If it were not for the ego's and the heroin, G&R could have been one of the greats!Fuckin' shame.

Appetite is a classic.  Illusion 1&2 are great and still
definitely listenable.  I don't have to worry about playing them
in mixed company like I do Foreigner.
