My chick and I are visiting DC next week, so i figured it would be a
good idea to ask the folks here for some of those out of the way/not
well advertised/hole in the wall places that are really cool to see
while i'm down there. We're staying near Potomac, MD with a
friend.

I go once a year for my job and like this place in Georgetown.

It's a seafood place and inside they usually have a jazz band playing. It is on the Potomac so you can get a very nice view also. It is a bit pricey so be carefull on a budget but a good place if you want to take your girl for a special night.

Tony and Joe's
3000 K Street, NW
Phone: 202-944-4545

If you want a great bar for music you want to try Madam's Organ Blues Bar. Great music good prices for liquor and food. Menu is basic (burgers and chicken) but good

http://www.madamsorgan.com/

Now I'm starvin

Back to your question, what are you looking for a place to go sight seeing, a cool restaraunt for lunch or dinner, or a bar to have drinks, dance, listen to music?

What days are you going to be here?

What are you price ranges?

For sight seeing go to the monuments at night, Jefferson, Lincoln, Vietnam Vet. Wall, and Catherdal are very cool at night.
