Horror Movies

Whats the deal with this great deluge of horror movies pouring onto us? Until last year we only had a few horror movies a year and now we got 2 every month. How long do you guys expect this new fad to last? I think it will end next year.

  It comes in waves. I wondered the same thing back in the 1980's when all the slasher movies (Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, etc) were coming out every other week.
