I wasn't sure if he said "We'll see ya" or "We'll see".I felt so bad when I first thought of Here Comes The Sun to be show related, then Pauly said it was for his friend who died. He talked about him on MySpace.  Pauly used to be friends w/ him, but had to get away from him because of the kid's heavy drug use. The kid ended up OD'ing. So sad.

for the phone calls... it is called an auto dialer... my company has
one that has 20 lines on it... it is normally used to play recorded
messages to a list of phone numbers... they are called IVR calls...
kinda like the recorded messages you get from candidates runing for
office "hi, my name is John Smith and i am running for congress...
please vote for me" or something like that... it works through a
computer that controlls it and plays an MP# when the line is picked
up... i programed a loop of the radio stations studio lines into it and
set it to make calls using O&A recorded stuff... it dialed around
3000 times in 4 hours and got picked up 1200 times... the rest were
busy signals... does that explain it... here is a link to similar

against their philosophy of being the place where you dont just get

I have no idea why BigAssMember is getting the shit he is.  What is the problem?  I've seen him on the other messageboard and enjoyed his work.  He has a horrific sense of humor that is disturbing yet at the same time hysterical.He said he had info and put it in here.  This is all a big shit ball of speculation.  I don't want to hear anymore of this stupid fighting.  It's funny, I heard SO MANY BAD THINGS about O&A messageboards, then I went to one and realized it was all bullshit.  They're just other messageboards.  I think a lot of people around here have a problem with O&A listeners because of the shit that went down right after O&A went off the air.  We were bombarded with all these new users doing stupid shit and asking stupid questions.  I don't hold any ill will towards O&A messageboard members and neither should any of you.  I will use myself as a perfect example:Would you all want Wackbag members to judge our entire board on my posts?  I know I wouldn't because I am only a minescule part of this board.  If some of you have problems with certian O&A members, deal with them.  From what I saw on other boards, it's another messageboard like ours that may get slightly more hostile from time to time.  But I've tangoed with you people before, and you get your little fucking feelings hurt just the same as them.

Is it safe to come back on here...?Hmmm? Hmmmm? Ok....I'll tread lightly...This
week sure has felt like a final week on WJFK, but not really in a bad,
limping out way, but more of a "going out on top" way. Tuesday,
for example, both Ron and Fez were just filled with such glee and
goofiness. Go back and listen to Fez a couple of times really throw
himself into some riffs. VERY, very funny stuff. Wednesday, the
callers, from out of no where, really brought their A-Game. And for the
most part, since the legal feed was down for part of the show, a lot of
it can be assumed to be the DC folks. Where have they been for crying
out loud?! I loved the "banning Jen for life" segment, and that ended
up being completely caller driven. Last night was an example of
just a regular show that turns on a dime and finds a focus - the whole
thing with Bethany and her dates. Another really silly, solid show.
Definately NOT phoning it in. Last night also has a terrific comedy pyramid. 
Many of the DC era characters
have checked in one more time this last week - Perrynoid, Jen, Bobo,
Elfish, Mikey D, Laslo. Even Craig Coleman came out of no where to call
in last night. Hell- MONSTER came in! THat one floored me when I saw
him - the first time I was ever in studio it was one of his first
shows. I'd love to have a return of Fat Baby and Tender, for one last
time. I really hope Bitz shows up tonight too. THe only other thing
missing is Howard Cunningham turning to the camera wishing us all
"Happy Days" in a toast. 
This week proved that R&F are pros and that if this is true,
that Infinity suits are fools, and XM is damn lucky to be getting
them. If this week IS the last week of Ron and Fez on terestrial
radio, then it is both a sad week for their local fans, but also an
impressive one, simply by the level of the show they have done. Yeah, I
know this is coming off rather brown-nosey, but it really is the truth.
So much has been devoted to what this song played out of that bumper
really meant, or what comment said here actually meant, and not so much
on how great they have been with pressure under fire.

There are plenty of other folks here who like you enjoy both programs and just want to be here. I joined wackbag a few years ago and never had a problem with anyone there, in fact many people were very nice. I would hope that rfnet would be just as welcoming to folks as well.

Im going to say NY. About a month ago they said there were saving the song "The boys are back in town" for later. Maybe they will play it tonight. If they do go 11am-3pm man im never getting out of my seat at work.  i believe it has
something to do with the deal R&F signed with infinity to let them
out of their no-compete... from what i heard... if R&F stayed after
their contract was over at the end of june untill WJFK had a
replacement lined up and kept their mouths shut... then they could
begin broadcasting in september... or something like that... i'm not to
clear on what happened

I'll put my 2 cents in here too...I think they'll be afternoon drive on
202 (3-7p est. with replay right after to get the afternoon drive on
the left coast. They won't be on right after O&A because that would
cut into the west coast morning drive. Afternoon drive is the second
most important slot in radio, and XM would want to put a live show

A few recommendations would be cool from some of the old schoolers...some of their favorite (full) shows. I
like listening to full shows rather than clips. I've heard an AFRO
show,and I'll probably find a few more, and their first WNEW show, ,
but I want to hear R&F at their finest at WNEW.Got
any dates for me to search out? (and yeah...spreadtheonavirus is a good
site for that BAM....by the way...what's the date of the 'voyeur bus'

quite a few of the "bits" (so to speak) that OnA used to use. I'm

using certain things on the new show.  For instance, could JFK claim rights to character voices done by the group ? Eg; Mr. Rogers, Andre The Giant etc.. ?

I'm so grateful to have heard the last segment,since in real time I
snoozed off.I could especially hear the relief in Ron's voice,like now
maybe he can get some sleep.I'm pretty sure I was 10 feet from him
about 10-15 years ago when I was running lights/video cam in a club for
a loud rock band at the Stone Balloon in Newark De.He was in the
audience smoking a cigar & had those raccoon eyes.I just nodded and
waved politely when he looked my way and we never spoke.Little did I
know I'd be hooked on his radio show years later,and he had a whole
history of radio shows behind him already
then.                                   
So I wake up at 2 am sat morn from my snooze and start reading the
threads here,and find the WJFK show is history.    
I wonder if they will move to NY????Or will they stay in DC since XM
has their big studios in DC????When they say putting the band back
together,does that mean PHYSICALLY as in same studios NYC?  I
think it's a pretty important consideration,so I hope people in the

I don't know if it came across on the air or not, but the Runaway Bride Cameron was in the middle of the studio when the final YMB was delivered.  It was a beautiful moment....and fitting.good luck guys and congrats.

I just need to know the time slot the guys will be in.  If I can't
listen in the evenings then XM probably won't be worth it.

It's no bit guys. RARELY, VERY RARELY in the radio biz do you actually get the chance to come on and SAY THANKS and SAY GOODBYE. Ron & Fez wouldn't go and do an elaborate and sincere goodbye like that and be faking it.
