WHY? How many we are the worlds and that shitty heavy metal we are the world's does it take to motivate countries into actions that will actually do some substantial good? </p><p>Live 8 was utter horseshit. You don't need a concert to raise awareness. Any dipshit fuckhead who says he wasn't aware of famine in Africa prior to the reuniting of an aging Pink Floyd should smack his head againt the wall. I hope every dollar raised went to Africa and none of the artists took a dime for thier services.</p><p>I gave $50 to UNICEF. <a href="http://www.unicef.com/">http://www.unicef.com</a>. Drop fifty bucks. You'll feel&nbsp;a little better. Not a lot, but a little. Nobody expects you to drop everything and go halfway around the world to aid the poor and hungry (well, maybe the poor and hungry do) but at least you can skip a couple of drinks in the city and give a little. </p>
