The Aristocrats

<p>I saw the Aristocrats today.&nbsp; The documentary about the so called dirtiest joke of all time only told comedian to comedian and never done on stage.&nbsp; It was quite good with a who's who of comedians sharing their stories, legends, and interpretations of the joke.&nbsp; The thing I got the biggest kick out of was that there were a lot of senior citizens at the film today and they were all laughing their asses off, a good dirty joke brings all generations together.&nbsp; </p><p>Some of the biggest laughs for me was from Gilbert Gottfried, Bob Saget, Sarah Silverman, Martin Mull, Otto &amp; George, and the South Park segment.</p>

I heard the segment about this on O&A the other day, and there's just no part of me that can find this joke funny. Don't get me wrong, it has absolutely nothing to do with "offensiveness" or "inappropriateness." It's just purely unfunny to me. The punchline is something out of the 1800's... literally. Typically it's long and tedious, and there's just nothing clever about it.

In the film most of the comedians admit that the joke sucks and that it's just an excuse for them to riff vile and disgusting.&nbsp; To use an O&amp;A word it's an excuse for Debauuuuuuchery!&nbsp; Basically this jokes gives all the clean comedians an excuse to riff like Otto &amp; George.

not supposed to be funny.&nbsp; In the vaudeville days veteran
comedians would tell it to the rookies right before they went on
stage.&nbsp; When they got to the punchline, the older guys would bust
out laughing, leaving the rookie confused.&nbsp; It's more of a
mind-fuck.&nbsp; At least that's what I've heard.</font><p>&nbsp;</p><p>&nbsp;</p><font color="#000000" />
