IDEA: Ron & Fez fan get-together Bar 9 August 9th [Archive]

Didn't see anyone else posting this idea, so I thought I would throw it out there....How about a Ronfez.net get-together at Bar 9, Tuesday night, August 9th to celebrate our budday's first AFRO show on XM?If it's put together soon enough, maybe O&A will even throw out a few on-air plugs for it before next week.Thoughts?

at the hard rock....we did a farwell party there we should have the

I was only fortunate enough to go down to DC for one of the Friday Night Lights - around Memorial Day - Scorpion and I went down, got to hang in the studio with the boys, and managed to lean against the studio wall and turn all of the lights out. This was the infamous night where Giant Brian left the mics on during break, and all of the nonsense we were all BS-ing during the break went out over the air.I doesn't have to be anything "official" - just a bunch of us hanging out. I think it would be better to wait until they decide, or announce where they'll broadcast from.  September 13th (the first official tuesday back) seems like the perfect date, especially if the boys could make it (including Brother Joe and band).  Just my two cents.  Oh and I'd love for Ch to make it out.

Ill be on vacation on the 9th, plus thats a little short notice for
the board. Back it up like a week or 2, itll give more plan time, plus
be closer to the time they come on and have more buzz.....plus i want
to go, so lets back it up a week

Thought the timing would work well with their on-air appearance that day. But if a later date works better for the whole board, I'm all for it...

I agree with the Hard Rock thing...that is really where NY said good bye to R+F...maybe that's where we get together...although I'll go anywhere...I don't know any ronfez.net fans personally...so hopefully you'll be kind...especially since I'm a wackbagger too (NOT ALL OF US ARE THAT BAD....REALLY)

Brother Joe shouldn't even be factored into the equation
anymore.  He's too busy touring the world with 2U, he can't even
make O&A dates.  And the R&F crowd kind of just adopted
the Bar 9 thing when the O&A crowd died down.  Although it
would be cool to see he and Mikey Potato Head again, for old times sake. And
we don't need to be tied down to just Tuesdays at Bar 9 (Last time I
was there the furniture smelled of stale cat piss), there are plenty of
other bars and other nights that we can move it around to.  I'm
sure people could make some suggestions.
