<p>I've loved Ron and Fez ever since I first discovered them in the middle of the night back in highschool.&nbsp; I've followed their show from the start on WJFK, and I am very depressed to see this finally happening.&nbsp; I won't (and probably can't) pay for satellite radio.&nbsp; Plus, they're on middays.&nbsp; Ron and Fez belong at nights, just like Don and Mike belong in afternoons.&nbsp; And I don't want to get sucked into the asshole fraternity of New York shock jocks (Opie and Anthony, and the other guy).&nbsp; Boobs and naked cruelty aren't funny to me.&nbsp; So, after Don and Mike retire in two or three years, I guess my radio-listening career will be over.&nbsp; It's a parting of the ways--my source of daily entertainment and diversion is slowly going away, and I'll have to get a real life, with real people.&nbsp; So goodbye and good life to Ron and Fez.&nbsp; I can't follow them where they're going.&nbsp; I'm not that much of a radio-phile.</p><p>If anyone wants to call me an asshole and an idiot and I don't know what else, please, enjoy yourselves.&nbsp; I'll be watching TV and/or not shedding a second thought on 'this'.&nbsp; </p><p>I Hate New York(ers)</p>

cruelty&quot;), perhaps you should look into fact instead of what you may
have heard (hell, even what you may have heard of their terrestrial
show back in the day). That is a very poor description of the
show.<br />

<p>How could anyone hate New Yorkers?</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p><img height="394" src="http://www.cisnet.com/~ralcorn/2BULL-5.GIF" width="269" border="0" /></p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>On the afternoon of August 30th, Pope for some unexplained reason thought that the Confederates were in the process of retreating. He ordered an assault along Jackson's line. Having been brutally repulsed, the Union lines were in disarray. Longstreet took advantage of this and moved his men forward against the weak Federal left. The entire Union army was forced to retreat to Chinn Ridge to form a better defensive position. The 5th and 10th New York Regiments made a brave but futile stand against Longstreets attack, buying valuable time for Pope to gather and reform his ranks. The sacrifice made by the 5th and 10th was enormous. In a matter of about 5 minutes, the 5th New York lost 123 men killed. This stands as the highest number of men killed in any regiment in any battle of the Civil War. This monument honors their memory (there is a monument for the 10th, also). </p>
