View Full Version : 2005 RONFEZ.NET SOFTBALL RIDES AND DIRECTIONS

From the Garden State Parkway NORTH:

Go thru SIX (NOT FIVE) traffic lights. At your SEVENTH light make a LEFT onto Springfield Ave.
Follow the rest of the directions for parkway south people.
 
If
you are coming from PA and need to take Route 78 East, just follow that
until you get onto the Parkway South and follow the directions from
there.
Anyone
coming from NYC would get onto the NJ Turnpike/Route 95 SOUTH and get
off at Exit 14 for Route 78 West. Take 78 West to the Parkway SOUTH and
take the directions from there.
If
you are coming from the Holland Tunnel (and I have no idea who would
but I digress....) just take the Holland Tunnel out to Route 78 West.
Anyone
who is south and closer to the Turnpike then the parkway just take the
NJ Turnpike North to the Parkway Interchange, hop onto the Parkway
North and...well you know the rest.

(Hoboken)From here I have no idea which train you would take to get to either Cranford.I believe there is a station in Cranford, so I guess people can pick you up/take you back if needed. Why not try to see who else is coming from LI?

From NYC Penn Station,You would want to take a NJ Transit/Trenton Bound NE Corridor Train to Newark.(About 15 mins) 
 Get
off of the Train in Newark and Take the Raritan Line to Cranford. It's
about a 20 min trip once you get on the Raritan Train Line.Buy the ticket at Penn Station NYC, otherwise they will charge you $5 for buying the ticket on the train. If

Mdr....I do not recall seeing any basketball courts there. Besides, if more people decided to come because there were courts and not because of the softball game, then it would not matter to us either way if they showed up, they still would not be playing softball. Just some extra mouths to feed. But to answer your questions, no no basketball courts.

Taking the pathf rom New York....You should get off at Newark, switch trains, and then take a train to Roselle Park. Or cranford I guess. Whenever I go into the city I use Roselle Park though.
