I think Spider-Man with Batman in second place and the X-Men third.

As far as villains go Spider-man has faced essentially the best of them: Dr. Octopus, Green Goblin, Venom, Carnage, Vulture, and Kingpin.

Riddler
Joker
Penguin
Mr Zsaz
Mr Freeze
Catwoman
Poison Ivy
Bane
Two Face
Clayface

All either have powers or crafty...but still can be taken down by Batmans mind
agility and stamina,,etc

The x-men, i mean come on how could any superhero beat an incredibly smart master of magnatisim that can alter gravity, and creat force feilds with a life of his hand. Not to mention that magneto or magnus as he is now called had thousdands of mutants at his ctontroll. In x-men there werent any real bad or good guys they were all on both sides some point in time. but X-men ahd the best villans to square off agaginst.

I'd go with Batman first, then Spidey. For third, I'd maybe go with Superman.

X-Men villains generally suck ass. Magneto was cool, I kind of dug Apocalpse, but the rest are just boring. They're the same thing over and over again, cause there's like, a billion X-Men comics out there, and everything's been done to death.

Superman? Come on! He had Luthor and Braniac. When someone new (the grey guy with the spikes) came along he actually killed Superman!

EDIT: In addition, this should be in old schoool.

It's got to be Batman. He had alot more than most superheros. Also just think Frank Gorshin, Liberace, Cesar Romero, and all those actors against you.

ah yes, Liberace might be the most frightening villain anyone ever had to face.

If Otto Preminger is the enemy of Adam West, then I am the enemy of Adam West. For the record I think the Fantastic Four had the best villains going. Galactus, Dr. Doom, Annhilus, Namor, etc.

Doom was not originally a Spider-man villain since Doom was a classmate of Reed Richards (Mr. Fantastic) and first Appeared in the early issues of the F4 where he sent the male trio back in time after capturing Sue.

And to whomever moved this thread- thanks.

And another Spiderman foe- Electro

The Fantastic Four w/ Captain America a close second.

The FF had Dr. Doom, Galactus, the Mole Man, Super Skrull, Kang, The Puppet Master, and they also battled the first and best super hero Namor!

And Cap had The Red Skull, Baron Von Zemo, Deathlock, Nazi's, and Adolf Hitler!

It has to be the one and only classic, Batman. So many damn original characters and the best storylines back in the day.

Gotta love the timewarp.
