Wireless USB

<p>I have a computer in my basement that I would like to hook up to the wireless network in my house,</p><p>Unfortunately I don't have a slot for a wireless card because the computer is a thin desktop pc. I would like to be able to have it go online - so I picked up a wireless usb adapter on my lunch hour at work.&nbsp;Does anyone know if these things actually work okay, and if they work okay between floors? My wireless network is on the main floor of the house, though I want the pc in the basement to be able to connect. Any wireless networking experts out there?</p>

I have one at home that I use to set up new computers.&nbsp; Works ok,
but I prefer the wireless adapters that plug into the ethernet
jack.&nbsp; I have one of those on my media server.<br />

Does it have an external antanea? If not, can you add one? without one, it will be much harder to get consitant signals

We have a Linksys USB adaptor on one of our computers here at home and it works well.&nbsp; I reccommend it<br />
