This is not anything official, though just an FYI if anyone is interested in making donations towards relief and recovery efforts for the victims and areas affected by Hurricane Katrina. Many people here were very supportive to the victims of the Tsunami in Asia

The American Red Cross is currently putting together a relief effort campaign. You can donate on their website or via phone at 1-800-Help Now or by contacting your local chapter for more info.

Direct Relief which helps communities in replenishing their medical supplies during disasters is also taking donations for this.

The United Way is also taking a fund as well. http://national.unitedway.org/
Reefy's website...Check out The Ron and Fez Show Logs...UPDATED!!!!!Right now you could care less about me... but soon enough you will care, by the time I'm done

Just all the stories all day on NPR and seeing what I've seen on CNN it makes me just want to go down and help.

That's exactly how I feel. The same as I felt on 9/11. I just want to hop in my car or get on a flight and go down there to pitch in. The images on CNN and MSNBC are unbelievable. I just feel so bad for everyone who was affected.

I'm donating to the Red Cross but I'd like to add the ASPCA. They are sending relief down there for people's pets, strays, and for destroyed shelters.

I'm donating to both too, Fuzzy. I can't help but think of all those poor displaced animals.

As a New Orleans resident and a New Orleans Police Officer, I appreciate the efforts made to provide assistance to those of us who are still living through the worst catastrophe in the history of the United States.

However, I have no idea what the Red Cross is doing with the money people are donating. For that matter, I don't know what any of these large charities are doing.

If anyone wants to make a donation to a charity that will provide direct relief to the people who put their lives on the line for the citizens of New Orleans, I would recommend www.neworleanspoliceandfirefighters.com as a place to make donations.

If you really want to do something for one person (like a Ron and Fez/O&A fan), let me know and I will give you the wiring instructions for my bank. I'm trying to rebuild...

Thanks again (sincrely),
