Ron & Fez TV??!!

With the demise of Stern's Sat. night show, how about Ron and Fez TV? I think that the boys are natural for some kind of late night TV show.

What do you guys think? What knid of show do you want to see them do?

I don't think I'd like them as much on television. Radio is better...leaves more to the imagination. Then again, I didn't like Stern's show that much either.

I think the "feel" would get lost along the way. this is tv for the ears-
but IF we're only playing make believe, I say make it RON AND FEZ'S FUNHOUSE & FREAKSHOW! and al dukes could be the wacky band leader in a marching band suit.

What happened to the Saturday Night Show?

I haven't watched it in months only because I figured it was in reruns. I had no idea it was gone. LOL

Not to get on a Stern topic, but, yeah, according to one of his fans' site, no new shows have been scheduled for the Sat. night show, which is a polite way of saying cancelled.

I like the idea of a whacky Ron & Fez kiddie show.

Stern got cancelled? That's hilarious. I guess you won't hear him lie anymore about beating SNL in the ratings.

Of course, this will probably fuel a round of whining about how "the networks / affiliates didn't support me", blah blah blah. Get in the coffin, die, you no-talent geezer.

First off the reason why a Ron and Fez show won't work is because they don't get guests and we all know that a radio TV show won't work without guests.

The thing about the Ron and Fez is that its brillance comes in its offbeatness and weirdness combined with the characters of both IF and the callers. It's not visual and would never work visually. You can't create a look for Iris without taking something away. They seem to work better off the cuff than having to write a bit and follow it.

Yeah, I've noticed the same thing Ikeaboy, they really are funniest when they are just sitting around shooting the s&!t. It's too obvious when they do bits (like Billy Staples' other board names, etc.); I laugh a lot harder at random conversations like what to do when you've killed your girlfriend's cat!

The thing about TV shows, is there has to be a great deal of content. Two guys sitting around a studio, taking calls and yelling at their producers, would be fun to watch for some, but would never pass the editing room.
