I know everyone will think it's the F word, but it's not for me.Fuck is just another curse word to me.  I try my best not to OVERUSE it because I know when you overuse it you run the risk of sounding stupid and ill informed.  That goes for any curse words.There are MUCH CRUDER WORDS in my opinion.  And in my opinion, the worst is the C word.  I remember a thread where it was used and there was some controversy about it, and it made me think that IT was the worst curse word you could use.  It's just so crude and derogatory against women that it's crazy to use.  It should only be used in refrence to your worst enemy, or the guy who runs your dog over or some shit like that.So no poll, just some discussion about what you feel is the worst curse word out there.

I can't think of anything worse than the "C" word. I don't think the
"N" word counts as a curse word. It's just a hate word. However, "C"
can be used for hate, also. Maybe that's why it seems to top the other
curse words.

I really don't feel it's the "best one" either to be very honest.  I have always loved Douche Bag as a good insulting curse word, and it's not even that dirty.  You don't have to get crude to be insulting.The C word is just really crude, and I don't like it.  I can't remember the last time I used it, unless I was talking to someone about how crude it was.

My favorite to use, when I'm truly pissed at a guy, is "little prick",
or "worthless little prick". I guess they are more insults, than
curse's though. The level of badness with any curse depends on how it's
used. If you say "mother fucking such and such" it's not necessarily
that bad. But if you call someone a "mother fucker", it's pretty bad.

Its really ridiculous how much "cunt" offends some women.  Not
too long ago I was in an arguement where I was on the defensive and I
called a girl a cunt.  The whole room got silent like I just
killed someone.It was almost EXACTLY like that scene of Curb Your Enthusiasm where Larry calls the gay guy a cunt."Pricks and cunts..they're equal."

The C word is nowhere equal to other curse words, that's why I started this thread.  It's like that one word insults a whole sex of human beings to the core.  It's really a bad word.  I suggest using is sparingly, like against your worst enemy.

I do prefer do use the word with discretion, but I'm not even trying to take this thread into a"What words not to use" kind of direction.  I just wanted people's opinions.  I think Funkman may have hit one something with the way you pronounce the word.  That hard C sound at the beginning makes is hard on the ears.Wait, did I just say hard C?  Jesus, I gotta stop saying things like that.

I thought "cunt" was about attitude as well. A "bitch" can really be anyone in a bad mood. If it's the literal meanings that are so offensive, why is being called a vagina worse then a dog? Cracker is offensive, but not if it's pronounced Crak ah'.

I think the difference between the U.S. and America with regard to this (and I may be wrong) is that they will use the word for both men and women, but here, it's often use as a description of a woman and essentially says that all you are or are good for is their vagina.  It's the same sentiment as when your hear "hole" on O&A.Of course, somewhat similar to how the offensiveness of the the "N" word is based on who says it, "cunt" is worse if it's used by a man to a woman than it is by a woman to a woman.  It's still bad, but not as bad.
