<a href="http://www.xm411.com/" target="_self">XM411.com</a> is starting their XM <a href="http://www.xm411.com/phpbb/viewforum.php?f=3" target="_self">Boot Camp</a> tomorrow.  From my understanding, it is intended to expose XM listeners to all of what XM has to offer by having participants listen, based on a schedule, to stations that they wouldn't ordinarily listen to.  I believe some of the participants are setting up <a href="http://www.xm411.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=17885" target="_self">blogs</a> to document their boot camp experiences.  The first week's <a href="http://www.xm411.com/phpbb/viewtopic.php?t=18035" target="_self">schedule</a> is up, and the focus is "old school", focusing on <a href="http://www.xmradio.com/programming/channel_guide.jsp?ch=4" target="_self">40s on 40</a>, <a href="http://www.xmradio.com/programming/channel_guide.jsp?ch=73" target="_self">Frank's Place</a> and <a href="http://www.xmradio.com/programming/channel_guide.jsp?ch=164" target="_self">Radio Classics</a>.  Next week, the focus is one that is very near and dear to our hearts: R&F.  Pretty cool. <img src="http://scripts.cgispy.com/image.cgi?u=mikeyboy" border="0" /> <a href="http://www.osirusonline.com/ronfez.htm" target="blank">Ron & Fez Show Log</a>; Daily News Scratch N' Match is the Devil <a href="http://www.radiobbq.net/" target="blank">The Music Mikey Likes Show on RadioBBQ, weekdays 11:00 am - 1:00 pm</a> Now with new <a href="http://www.ronfez.net/mediastorage/mikey/mikeyshowtheme.mp3" target="blank">theme song</a> by BoBoGolem

Thanks MikeyBoy (owd here) This is my first time
doing this, The point is to expose you to all that XM offers. Some
listen to a channel for 10 minutes, some an hour, the hardcore maybe
all day long! Here is this weeks "line up"September is back to school time - and we're going WAY back to kick off the boot camp this year.

Mikey is correctBut i was told that in years past XM DJ's and
Station Managers knew, supported and helped with XM411's effort to help
its listeners. How? I have no clue yet. I have my Myfi set
to record 2 hours of XM 4 tomorrow. I love the Swing genre (sirius just
axed their Swing Channel). Yet i have never listen to XM 4 in the past. Radio Classis is some strange strange stuff. I think people here may like it.

Fez i would think (have you seen anyother R&F marketing?) 
 Dont do a channel, no big deal. Just think about giving it a try. This isnt about XM programming, its about yourself. Do what makes you happy

OF FUCKING COURSE.I finally read about a channel on XM I want to hear and it's NOT on the fucking online channel selection.  164 isn't online.  Are these fucking morons going to get their SHIT together so their fucking full service matches their online service?  This is fucking bullshit.

I was extremely disappointed to see that the MLB channel (I think it's 175) is not available online either.

Yeah, it's likely because it would conflict with their Game Day Audio service that streams online and costs like 10 bucks a month.

licensed channels are only licensed for the airwaves and not the
internet.  This includes the radio shows (163 and 164), mtv, vh1,
disney, etc.  Alot of them either don't want it streaming, want ot
license the internet seperately or just charge to stream it themselves
(Live8, MLB, etc.)
