saw it opening day. the Hot Topic crowd was out in force. I wanted to punch the woman in the face that was sitting behind me. I didn't pay damn near $20 to hear you're witty fucking comments. So put a fucking sock in it you cow. As far as the movie goes, loud noises stopped being scary when I was 9. Just wait for the dvd.

Oh and i'm leaning towards epilepsy. Ever notice the only people that get possesed are either extremely religous or live in a 3rd world country somewhere? It's a cool idea but i'd like to know if someone was ever "possesed" that wasn't a religous nut.

There is no such thing as a scary movie.

They all rely on the f'cking stupid movie device of a sudden loud noise to jolt you outta your seat. Big deal. I can get the same level of "horror" when my cat knocks over the swiffer or the ironing board in the middle of the night.

Somebody is always shrieking, every door needs a shot of WD40 on the hinge, and OKAY....WE GET IT....WHEN YOU CLOSE THE MEDICINE CABINET IN THE BATHROOM, SOMEBODY, OR SOMETHING, WILL BE IN THE REFLECTION IN THE MIRROR.

All horror movies suck. The Exorcist, I think, is actually funny.

Poltergeist was a good movie but, again...not scary. Not even that f'cking clown doll. I did however like that one scene where the Mother pushes all the chairs in, then gets a bottle of Windex, turns around, and the chairs are impossibly stacked in a pyramid on the kitchen table. THAT was cool.
