How did these guys get a golden ticket?Good grief!  I know I havent heard an entire show yet, but so far I dont like it.  These guys are not nearly as funny as O&A.  Ill give it a few more shows to see if RF are an aquired taste.Oh well, welcome to XM!  Glad to have you guys on High Voltage!&dagger;JC&dagger;

I listened to Ron & Fez up until about their last day in NYC, then I only listened to them once the entire time they were in D.C. I haven't missed a second yet of the new show on XM and all I can say is holy crap, thank god I didn't listen to the D.C. stuff. It's like Ron & Fez Lite. Crazy Jen has to be the worst character I have ever heard on a radio program. I know the XM show is gonna rock, it'll just take a short time for the boys to find their audience, from there it's gonna be hilarious.

they really are an aquired taste, i think. i first heard them
back in the .com days and the show really annoyed me but, after forcing
myself to listen to an entire episode while stuck in horrible,
late-night accident traffic, i loved them.

& Fez are a great show. Give them a chance. I been listening since
the WNEW days and i listened to them on WJFK's website feed. LOVE them

You Suck, These guys are 100 times better than O&A cause they GOT WIT. It's called SMART HUMOR. I listend to O&A since 99 got Xm a year ago and I ALWAYS loved R&F more. From the get go, R&F is just a better show.

Slow down,big man. Ron & Fez are great,and they do have an awesome
smart humor aspect to their show,but 100 times better than O&A is a
bit of an exaggeration. The shows are different and cant and shouldnt

I suppose the only issue that could be a problem, is that I cannot imagine someone laughing at anything at any time during this 3 hour broadcast.  I probably just don't "get it yet".  Maybe Ron and Fez are more of a laid back, "casual hang out" type show.  Shrug.  If O&A see something, then I'm not gonna turn on em right out the gate.  Who knows.

R&F are definitely a different type of show. They ARE more laid
back,which is a nice change of pace,especially when you're at work and
dont want all the crude or upfront material that O&A hit us with.
Trust me O&A and R&F are an AWESOME combo.

yea they suck so bad that 5 people have wasted the time to make 9 new

love how people seem to think they are owed something. This show isnt
done the way I want it so YOU have to change it or get rid of it, cause

why are we shocked by this? Dont you remember every first day in new
markets for OnA? shit, the first ever time i heard RnF, i couldnt stand
them. Fez' voice was weird, and they didnt really make any jokes. After
about 3 days, you start to realize that those are the jokes. How the
show flows feeds into more funny then straight up jokes. It ends up
being like sitting around drinking with buds. Its not always funny, but
its usually a good time and every so often something happens thats
incredibly funny cause you get the group, but wouldnt be funny if you
didnt know what was going on.

JC,you are being very close minded ....RnF are awesome ...they have a chemistry that NO ONE else on the radio have ...I am an O&A fan and a Stern fan ...they all have their good and bad points ..but RnF have consistantly made great radio since 99 or 2000 when they came to WNEW.  They are truley the best of the bunch!!Do you remember your first Stern show ..your first O&A show... I'll bet you needed to give them time. do the same to RnF you will not regret it!!!

Let me start off by saying that the 3 AFRO shows last week were just awesome. Best O&A shows by a long shot. And I love the Ron and Fez show. Even more than O&A. But that Monday 1st Ron and Fez show was a major dissapointment. IMHO. I've been patiently waiting for months following this board to see the buddays join XM. Yes. I know the show "WILL" be as good if not better than ever. But this did not live up to expectations. I believe that they should have started with a bang. They have a great lead in. It is unnacceptable to have a month to prepare for a show and not do better. I don't mean "be funnier". I'm talking about show prep. Is Howard gonna just pop on and "Do his show". I doubt it. I love Ron and Fez. But I am dissapointed. P.S. I turned it off after the first hour.

Yea, I have to admit the 1st show wasn't a firecracker, and it seems like they kinda needed one to show O&A fans they're worth putting on the station.  I know people will start to dig them eventually, I just wish they had come out with all their guns blazing the 1st show, or a little more energy at the very least.I listen as much as I can, but already on the 2nd day, I caught almost NONE of the show.This timeslot and replay are DOGSHIT and it better fucking change soon.  On a more positive note, I've actually started flipping around the music station and I heard a few decent things.

Actually, I just thought of something.  Why did they have so much energy with O&A and then not have the same on their own?  That worries me.  But hell, they Boys are professionals.  They're the best at what they do and will prevail.
