I LOVE IT!!! how long before this idiot starts crying racism?(from dcrtv) WJFK-FM has yanked Peter Rosenberg (left), who was recently given the 7 PM slot after Ron and Fez left for XM, in favor of former MTVer Colin Quinn. And Rosenberg is "less than thrilled" with the move. Via an audio message at (doesn't matter nobody's listening here either) the locally-based talker asks his listeners to e-mail WJFK and Infinity's suits to express their displeasure with out-of-towners Quinn and "his lackey," who Rosenberg says are "two middle-aged white conservatives." DCRTV hears that both Rosenberg and Quinn are auditioning for 106.7's evening slot and that a final decision on an new show has not yet been reached.....

It's funny that Peter didn't make it very far past R&F's break time since leaving WJFK at the end of JulySo it's impossible to fire a Jewish person? His show sucked. Colin's may suck too, they'll fire him if it does. Peter mentioned a message board, anyone have a link? He also claims that his army was messing with Colin and Nick's show and was "trying to call it off" was there any "crank calls" to Colin and NickColin was fired by NBC (Twice that I know of ) and Comedy Central (and Tough Crowd was a great show!) As a joke, the cosmic circus declared war on real radio a few weeks ago. The Hideout had a lot of fun with it. As did some other national shows.  We tried to have some fun with Peter "crybaby" rosenberg by having Mikey D calling in & busting balls. (as he has instructed his army of 20 to do with Quinn)Peter dumps out of the call & goes on a rant about wanting to street fight us AND how calling in & fucking with shows is "just not cool" - So it's cool to fuck with other shows, just not yours? get a grip. WJFK, look at this idiot, already playing the race card. Gee lemme think,  Do I want a guy talking about his record collection all night? Or 2 funny guys who have national recognition? tuff choice eh?the guy is obsessed with skin color.We get it billy jack, you r black & proud. btw - the TPRS "army" is mostly just puck & his friends with 20 dif screen names. looks like tprs is going back to being a sat night show. The Collin & Nick show is done from NYC but only heard on WJFK. Al Dukes was on the show last night for a few minutes. Cool show. Every time I would tune into that terrible show (TPRS), all I would hear is how him and his douche friends would talk about how Public Enemy is the greatest band ever.  His two unfunny, uninteresting friends.  Yes Peter, you are so cultured because you enjoy black music and you are a liberal, BUT THAT DOESN'T MAKE GOOD RADIO.  That show was unlistenable and I ask the Trubanoid himself (yes you Perry) to continue the war.FIGHT THE POWER.

Rosenberg wasn't fired. He was promoted, then eventually demoted
back to his once a week slot on saturdays. I don't know the reason
behind replacing him with Quinn and Depalo. It's either because he's
such a cocky loudmouthed ass that they decided he wasn't worthy, or
because management didn't think he would make a dent in the ratings. I
think it's a little too fast to cut him because there hasn't been
enough time since R&F left to tell how Rosenberg's ratings are
going. I know a lot of people don't like Rosenberg's show for 2 main
reasons: 1. He's not Ron and Fez 2. He's an arrogant, loud liberal. I
don't know why people want Ron and Fez to be replaced by something
similar to Ron and Fez, but that will and cannot happen. Ron and Fez
are two comedically gifted radio hosts and they are proving it to the
whole nation at XM. I personally like hearing Rosenberg on the ari
simply because hes different. He's annoyingly liberal, he's a jewish
kid who likes underground rap and R&B and he's just a blathering
ass. I think that if he was given a decent chance, he could work out
the rough edges. And
it didn't take long for him to put race into the equation. He had a
badly recorded clip of himself talking about being replaced by white
conservatives.
