I now understand how much it must suck for people that hate Crazy Jen to hear her on the show all the time. I shudder at the thought of hearing that annoying hole Keisha on my beloved XM.

I'm a Keisha man, if I have to choose.  Keisha was on the air all the time, and even though I didn't think she was the BEST thing on the radio, she was pretty good for being dropped into that situation.  She always had something to say, and except for those last few things she talked about where the callers ripped her a new one, she was fairly intellligent.KEISHA all the way.If Jen was on the radio as much as Keisha was, I'd have to throw myself off the roof.  Jen needs to be a 10 minute guest, TOPS.

Yeah I guess Id get pretty sick of Jen if she was on all the time.  She is better in short appearences.  I'll even handle Keisha in short spurts. I just hope they arent gearing up for bringing Keisha on board to work at XM.

When I hear Crazy Jens voice...I turn off the radio.  Her voice grates on my every nerve and I just KNOW it's gonna be a long segment.  (and it always is)When she comes on, I turn it off...even now that I'm paying for it.   Pee-sha wasn't exactly FUNNY but, she definitely contributed.  And Ron seemed to like her.

Voice processing/equalization of phone calls.   Most
listeners never think like a soundman,but consider that Keisha has a
perfect FM radio voice,that you have almost exclusively heard in ideal
"in studio" conditions,on quality microphones using pro sound gear.
Consider that Crazy Jen has a "not ideal FM radio voice" which many
times has been heard over low grade signal phones,making the problem
more grating for the Jen haters.Give Keisha the exact same phone and
she'd technically SOUND better than Jen,but the problem of processing
phone quality sound is still very
undeveloped.          
Equalizing sound and GATING of volume(not allowing huge annoying peaks
so you rush to turn it down) are probably the 2 major improvements
needed to make a Jen voice more listenable. I LIKE both voices BTW,but
using them as a convenient example,since you guys brought it
up.             
Look at it another way with other people as example.I'm a huge Jim
Norton fan and cringe when I hear his volume blast so loud I'm forced
to turn the volume down because there is not enough control in studio
of volume peaking.It's an ongoing problem,less explosive on R&F
than O&A.

The boys dont need holes but the listeners do. Like Fart = Funny, Sex = Ratings. I dont mind hearing hot girls on the show every now and again but I must admit that I find Crazy Jen hysterical. Whether she's trying to be funny or Ron and Fez just know how to get the funny out of her, I enjoy small doses of her on the show.

I would usually agree with you, but it was fun to hear the action on Wednesday's O&A show, not so much for the girls, but Anthony going off on why this stuff wasn't happening so much when Jimmy was there. I'm with Bobo - I like both of them.  Both of them are willing to play the mouse to Ron's cat and allow themselves to get batted around for our listening pleasure and it's fun to see Ron have to change speeds because of their gender as opposed to the almost predictable torture of the male interns and producers.  I don't remember any of the female characters on the show in the WNEW tenure (Tenacious C, the R&F babies, even Tellin" Helen et al.) playing the pinata the way Keshia and Jen were willing to.Admittedly, when they're "free-styling" and get too far afield from their roles, teh funny suffers.  But don't forget that Ron was letting them off the choke chain during the feuding with management phase of the DC years when he didn't have the full supporting cast that he & Fez deserve.Forced to choose, I'd have to go with Keshia.  She seems to understand where the line between funny and annoying is a little better than Jen and when I briefly chatted with her at the Meet & Greet she was both charming and lovely.  Well, that and the fact that her WOW shots have given me a touch of the jungle fever. <img src="http://www.hometown.aol.com/recyclerz/myhomepage/sigpic1.gif?mtbrand=AOL_US" border="0" /> There ain't no asylum here. Now I never listened to the boys in DC so my guess is I missed out on a lot of stuff, but in my opinion there's no contest. I'm a Keisha man all the way! Crazy Jen could rot in hell for the rest of enternity for all I care.

I just think I am against any girl no matter who she is being a permanent entity in the studio.  I think they are both fine in short stints but Keisha chiming in every day in DC really got under my skin.

Crazy Jen is genuinely funny more often than not. I dont mind the
voice. Its radio, I think distinctive voices work on radio. I always
liked Lynn Samuels on WABC for that reason. 
 Kiesha's kinda uptight. Almost never funny. And Jen has a waaaay better ass.
