I think The Spirits Within gets shit on a bit too
much. I'm not saying its good, but its not awful. At the very least, it
was a beautiful film to look at.<br />

I thought technologically Spirits Within was excellent, but the plot
was dry and too pseudo philosophical.&nbsp; I would rather have seen
something truer to the final fantasy namesakes.&nbsp; But I do own the
dvd of FF:SW.<br />

<p>I swear I had no idea that Advent Children was a movie... </p><p>I saw the trailer on an anime dvd, but I thought it was the next game. I was looking forward to it. I'm so disappointed.</p>

it was a fucking awesome movie but you have to be a final fantasy fan to like it. it explains nothing of what happened in the game. i'm hoping they'll make more and i'd like to see one based on Final Fantasy 8

edition japanese dvd, i dunno if its gonna be on the american one, but
its cool as hell none the less</p><p>it revolves around zack, cloud, tifa and sephiroth, gives some back story<br />
</p><p>i thought it was real good, if you can find the movie chances are it should be easy enough for you to find</p><p>i really recommend fans to check it out<br />

<p>Just watched it again for the second time tonight.&nbsp; Straight DVD rip on my HDTV.<br />
</p><p> </p><p>Man
what a badass movie. My girlfriend fell asleep during the first
time but today I had a buddy who is a big FFVII fan watching it with me
and he liked it quite a lot.</p><p> </p><p>The movie is like a wet dream for people who liked the game. 2 thumbs up for pure excitement.</p><p> </p><p>I
went back and watched the cut scenes from FFVII again and was so
suprised about how bad the quality was. Things like CG really
don't hold up over time. When I first saw them back whenever the
game came out they looked so good but compared to the movie now they
are pretty bad. Oh well, at least we have this movie. </p>

I watched Last Order this weekend.&nbsp; It was a 20 minute cel based
animation that kinda covered the hidden Zack/Cloud subplot from
FFVII.&nbsp; It was just ok, but it was no Advent Children.<br />
