I have it on good authority he will be seen on local television again very, very soon. And by local television, of course I mean public access. And by public, I naturally only mean Fairfax County, Virginia. And by soon...I mean in and around Halloween.

Just sayin'

For reasons I can't get into, supposedly his nick name around the old crypt is "The Naked Naysayer."

Actually, he was a tv icon in DC going back to the early 1970s - I think I wrote a KOPitorial on him and his alter egos "Capt. 20" and "Bozo" once upon a time. He and his family just moved back to the DC area this summer, and I wouldn't be surprised if he does some more public appearances. His last time on broadcast tv was Channel 20's "Countdown with the Count" on New Years Eve 1999-2000. Months later Ch 20 was bought by Fox,and they fired everyone and condensed programming between Ch 5 & 20.

It was always assumed that Joe Flaherety's "Count Floyd" on SCTV was an homage/parody of Gore.
The source of all hate

I'd watch it for a few minutes just to see what it was about.

I wasn't aware that he had actually moved back to the area. When I saw his recent interview on NBC 4, they said he'd just be making an appearance this weekend. I hope he comes back for good. The Creature Feature was always fun to watch. He used crude editing techniques to put himself into the cheezy horror flicks he was showing. Last show I saw was when he showed Phantasm.
