I listen to the buddies on my Tao XM2Go, which I have had for about a month now and I think it is the greatest invention ever. I understand that the technology for this is very new, kind of like a Zach Morris cell phone, but I am still having some problems.

I record the 3 hour show everyday and even some O&A but when I go back to retrieve the files it drops some of them sometimes. For some reason it will stop recording without being prompted.

Anyone else having problems like this with theirs (or even other problems)?

It doesn't make you a bad person to say taint on the radio

I have the TAO as well, but haven't had any such problems. If I had to guess, I'd say that the problem is signal drop-off rather than any problem with the recording. It can't record without a signal, and if there is no signal for an extended period of time, the unit will stop attempting to record. Are you recording in the cradle with the antenna? Is there a spot where you can record that might get a better signal? I'd try recording in different areas with the antenna and see if that helps.

I have mine situated in a good spot in my office that rarely craps out (in Rockville, MD...so not in bumF, USA). It is hooked up to its power source and the anntena.

I have Fred on now and I don't think it has crapped out since I turned it on, about 45 minutes ago.
