He was 79. Bond played a member of the Gang named Tommy. After his first year he was dropped from the cast but returned later in the role of Butch, the archenemy of Alfalfa.

I remember watching the show from time to time as a kid, but never really liking it.  I think I'm at least a generation ahead of kids who enjoyed this show.

we had this girl in the neighborhood who was pretty tough and some people thought she might be a lesbian. i even heard some people say she was a little butch. now i know who they were comparing her to...crazy like a fox

Bond died Saturday of complications from heart disease at Northridge Hospital, said his manager, Frank Marks.I was afraid he was having dinner with Robert Blake.
