No kidding.&nbsp; Everyone raves how great it is that the monopoly of the two coasts has been broken up by the south...it's AWFUL.&nbsp; Mushmouthed MC's who can barely spit a sentence, the same lyrical themes over and over again, retarded slang (even by hip-hop standards), flat production...almost everything about southern hip-hop has sucked except for OutKast and some of Timbaland's work.&nbsp; Worst of all, it's influenced everyone else to be as lazy and crappy as southern rappers, so like KO said, overall the genre is in a HUGE dip.

<p>What about Buck 65? He's definitely something different, has been for a while. I'm actually surprised no one hereabouts has mentioned him before. I love his shit. He may not be the best rapper, but his lyrics are unreal. If you haven't already, I would suggest picking him up. 'Talking Honky Blues' or &nbsp;'This Right Here is ...' there's a little crossover between the albums, the second one is like&nbsp;a best of. He released another album this year, 'Secret House Against the World', but I haven't had a chance to get it yet, so I can't comment. His last album "Balance" was just another one of many should've been classic hiphop albums from recent years that noone ever heard of.
