About five years ago, one of my best friends started a Not for Profit to help NYC Public Schools.  In the past five years, it has expanded to over 5 major cities and has raised tons of money for public schools all over the US.Two months ago, Amazon.com and Stanford Business School named DonorsChoose one of the 10 most innovative charities in the world.  The Amazon Nonprofit Innovation Award puts it in a race: the finalist organization that raises the most donations via Amazon.com will be matched up to $1 million and declared “America’s most innovative charity.”  DonorsChoose is dwarfed in size by the other nine competitors, but has managed to break away.  Right now, they are neck and neck for first place with Teach for America, an organization 30 times its size.  The finish line is 48 hours from now. What time is it? I work on Fridays but I'd sure like to go and ask her about Rayanne and Brian Krakow and if she is still goin' out with Jordan.
