edit: here's the current state of the replay schedule:Good news and bad newsthe good news: I have the weekend schedule.  Here are the times for the R&F replays over the weekend:Midnight - 3am 7-10am 2-5pm 9pm-midnightThe bad news?  Which show will run in which slot will vary from week to week.  The shows that are the strongest for the week are the ones that will be selected for replay, and those shows will be run in order over the replay time slots.  For example, if Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday shows were the solid shows of the week, they will run in that order all weekend. Potentially this means that not all of the week's shows will be replayed on the weekend, and as of now there is no way to tell which ones are considered the best of the week (and therefore which ones will run in which weekend replay slots).  I'm going to check with Earl and East Side Dave and see if it's possible to at least get a heads up as to which of the week's shows are considered to be the strongest so people can determine when those shows will replay.<img src="http://scripts.cgispy.com/image.cgi?u=mikeyboy" border="0" /> <a href="http://www.osirusonline.com/ronfez.htm" target="blank">Ron & Fez Show Log</a>; Daily News Scratch N' Match is the Devil <a href="http://www.radiobbq.net/" target="blank">The Music Mikey Likes Show on RadioBBQ, weekdays 11:00 am - 1:00 pm</a> Now with new <a href="http://www.ronfez.net/mediastorage/mikey/mikeyshowtheme.mp3" target="blank">theme song</a> by BoBoGolem

Thanks Mikeyboy.  I won't bitch about timeslots here.  I hope I'm in my car sometimes when the weekend replays go off.  The show has been very funny, and it seems to me the boys are very well adjusted already.

Thank you VERY much for this thread Mikeyboy! For some reason, the Myfi didn't record Friday's show. As of 32 minutes ago, it's recording it. I now have something to listen to while I work on Sat. night.

What's really cool is that I have a series 2 Tivo and it will allow me to record and burn the directv feed onto a DVD for later.  I can actually get 2 shows on one disc.I used to listen to R&R back in the day.  While those shows were in a class of their own, it's great that Ron and Fez still have the same great rapport.  Love it.

From what O&A said today, they will be running their Best of O&A on XM special straight through all weekend, so it seems there will be no R&F replays this weekend, if I heard correctly. Just a heads up.

If that is true about no R&F replays,and I don't know that it is,I think I can guess why.It's all about ratings and getting the new XM customers their dose of O&A,which is why they bought the units (those who bought it for XM 202 channel),competing with Siruis in the best way they know how.Stern is going to pick up at least a million subscribers for Sirius,which boosts their numbers dramatically.At the same time the turnover for xm subscribers may have levelled off.I'm Mister Obvious,but it's the numbers game is my guess and nothing to do with R&F vs O&A replays,other than O&A bring in bigger numbers and are more famous.

I would have thought the hard core Stern fans already have their units/subs (since his Channel went live a few weeks back, even without his show starting)Or do you mean a million more subs over some period of time?

202 would be so much stronger with Ron and Fez 7-10 or 8-11.  I just got XM and I know its an O and A weekend, but there is just too much O and A.  It dilutes their effect.

Just got my XM for Christmas and here is my biggest problems: A) I am one of the few who wanted XM to get me R&F back more than O&AB) R&F are barely on 202C)
How the frig is it possible that O&A have been on the air for over
a year, and R&F have been on for a few months yet their best ofs
are the exact same damn bits over and over again. In the past 24 hours
all I have heard is Tony Danza (hilarious), Stalker Petty date with
whoever the stuttering dude is (dull), and Fezzie and Mikey D making
man love over the airwaves (Cool for and hour maybe, but boring as hell
at hour 3). Not for nothing, I want no part of Howard or
Sirius, but at least I will give him props that he is trying to develop
original programing for his stations, I only wish that 202 would do the
same.  Anyhoo, I can;t describe the goosebumps I
felt when I heard R&F's voice coming through my radio again, and
hearing Ronnie drop the F-Bomb is so natural is awesome.

Well Livin, I know O and A, and Ron and Fez may have both announced, that XM was putting a priority on the folks like yourself who may have gotten XM for Christmas.  So the O and A show was in worst of all weekend, with the "top bits" of the year.  The feeling being that O and A are the higher profile show(a fair assessement) so get the fans the O and A as much as possible.  Many people aren't the diehards to the point to have downloaded, so this is their first reintroduction to O and A in the better part of 3 years.I do hope they address the repetition, but hopefully that explains somewhat what you heard this weekend.  ON the plus side, both shows are going to be back live by Wednesday(perhaps Tuesday but I don't recall)

XM channel?  (Say XM 203)   I know that O & A are
more recognizable and will introduce  R & F to more listeners
but they are barely on 202. I mean 11 to 2 and then repeated at
midnight! Do O & A pay R & F their salaries?  Or does XM?  Will a move to their own channel be possible down the road?   I guess I had more than one question.

The argument for the "3 hour tour" was that back at WJFK, with all the commercials, their 4 hour program was actually about 2 hours and 40 minutes of actual show. I'd love to see another hour added, but I don't know if that's consistant with other satellite shows or not (3 vs. 4 hours). The midday timeslot works because it keeps them flexible to do the AFRO Shows, which they knew fans wanted. Personally, it would work better for my schedule if they were in afternoon drive on the east coast (3-7) - I also think the callers could be a notch above the current crop. Still, I've made their schedule work with mine, for the most part. The midnight replay stinks, imo, however if they were to move them into the evenings on the east coast, it would then mean that they would be on afternoon drirves on the west coast, and already the only real anti-R&F critics are those who are upset they lost their O&A replay during the left coast morning drive. Aside from a 4th hour added, the weekend replays is where I think 202/XM should really step it up and help out the R&F fans in 2006. This is currently a mess - the one weekday I have the most problem catching during the week is Wednesdays is on at the single worst time of the weekend. I don't see a "Ron and Fez" channel. What might work, however, is a "Golden Ticket" channel - a place for other shows, as well as an O&A and/or R&F replay, etc.. Problem is, what will they program opposite live O&A or live R&F? hmmmm...

I think it is defintitely best to have them on the same channel, since a lot of jokes or bits get carried over from one show to the other (like the mousetrap or Black Earl's meltdown).  I would like to see the replays alternate, or at least put R&F before midnight.

I don't think it's a REPLAY SCHEDULE problem to begin with, it's a TIME-SLOT issue.  They currently have the shittiest slot in all of radio.  They should be on from 4-8pm or somthing like that.  I know there's something to be said for having O&A and R&F back-to-back, but is it really that important?  How often do topics or bits really carry over?  Once or twice a month maybe.  It seems like Ron and Opie never see each other anyway.It used to be with WJFK that I could listen enough to keep in the loop without having to try so hard.  Ron and Fez get paid to be there from 11-2, but I have things to do (not important things, but still).  I'd like to listen on my own time, but from 9ish-5 I'm supposed to be doing something else.  Right now I'm sitting here listening online with headphones laughing out loud in a room full of people.More importantly, the show works best when it's interactive.  The phones blowing up doesn't really matter much when the audience can't call in.  Replays might help us catch up or hear bits we missed, but if the show were on in "afternoon drive time" it would definitely be faster and probably funnier. And... with the time difference, a later show might help the west-coast newbies get the concept.

i'm a little nervous about what e-lo said a few weeks back, in reguards to a big announcement that all the pests/202 listeners have been asking him to do. as it stands i'm lucky enough to be able to listen to both shows straight through (7 friggin hours), i dig it but i'm afraid they're gonna get put on another channel opposite o&a or swung to the pm drive time, which would probably be funnier, but i'd be listening at a greatly diminished capacity (selfish)......anyway, they do deserve to be replayed a little sooner in a regular day, midnight stinks for east coasters.

The replay schedule has been so messed up, lately. Yesterday, from 11-2 it was 2 thirds of Friday's show. Today, from 11-2 it was all of Friday's show, and tonight, from 6-9 it was all of Friday's show again!I was hoping today's 11-2 would be Thursday's show because I wanted to record the 420 show. I promised someone at work I'd get it for them. Did anyone else, by chance record that show?

Because Ronfez.net is not officially connected with the show.  If it was, you'd probably get a lot less inside info and there would be XM ads all over this place.Also, there's a lot of people with "Inside Info" that are admins and posters here.  Them not knowing says to me that maybe even Ron and Fez are in the dark about all this shit, or aren't that thrilled and didn't share.

I just found this on the xmfam message boardLooks like Ron and Fez lose one replay. Yes, it is really fucking annoying that no one at XM has published a replay schedule yet. The one I posted last week was on another fan message board so where they got it I don't know. They had been correct up until this latest reshuffle.I can understand a message board having incorrect info, but the XM website has absolutelty no information about the weekend replay schedule (and never has as far as I know) Pretty poor support when they keep crowing that one of the best parts of 202 is that there are numerous chances to catch the shows in replay if you miss them.Time to fire of an email to Mr Logan I think.

Last weekend's replay schedule was perfect. Why did they screw with it? Even the O & A shows seem out of order.And now they played Wednesday's show again this morning. I doubt if they'll ever get to replay Friday at this point, which is the one show I missed.

Ok, so my mifi crapped out yesterday and didn't record the fri show. So I'm trying to figure out, based on the info on here, when I can catch it again. I turn the radio on to see if the mon show is on right now, as it should be, and I find something called "best of the week" which sounded a lot like thurs show. Does anybody have any clue as to when I can catch the fri show? And if the boys are gonna start running best of compilations on the weekends couldn't somebody give a heads up?  Like everybody I catch anything I missed on the weekends, if that ain't gonna work I'd like a little heads up.

It's great to have a set schedule finally, but I still can't understand why they don't have the Friday replay at midnight Friday. I could even understand the logic if they were to replay it at midnight Sunday.But the schedule as it is, repeats the Thursday show 3 times (including the midnight Thursday replay), repeats Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday twice (including their midnight replays) and the Friday show only gets replayed once. Can someone explain the logic ?

Good news and bad newsthe good news: I have the weekend schedule.  Here are the times for the R&F replays over the weekend:Midnight - 3am 7-10am 2-5pm 9pm-midnightThe bad news?  Which show will run in which slot will vary from week to week.  The shows that are the strongest for the week are the ones that will be selected for replay, and those shows will be run in order over the replay time slots.  For example, if Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday shows were the solid shows of the week, they will run in that order all weekend. Potentially this means that not all of the week's shows will be replayed on the weekend, and as of now there is no way to tell which ones are considered the best of the week (and therefore which ones will run in which weekend replay slots).  I'm going to check with Earl and East Side Dave and see if it's possible to at least get a heads up as to which of the week's shows are considered to be the strongest so people can determine when those shows will replay.

earl picks the shows that get replayed on the weekend, and everyone know he picks the shows that HE comes off best in, not the shows that were necessarily the best ones.while this week was a great week for quality radio, earl was an incompetent douche.  as such, there will be no R&F  replays this weekend  enjoy the O&A.
