What is a song(s) that you truley love but you are ashamed to admit it...so much so that you go right past it on the dial when someone else is in the car. For me it's ETERNAL FLAME by the Bangles. You should hear me hit those high notes at the end, it is the gayest thing I have ever heard!

<p>I try to be as open to music as I can. If you put my iPod on shuffle, you'd think I was fucking insane with all the crap that's on there. I'm usually not ashamed of anything I listen to, no matter what the company.</p><p>But I usually listen to my Spice Girls CD by myself. Yea, that's the one. No one should see me enjoying that. If someone walked in and heard me listening to that CD, it would be like my mother walking in to the room at the climax of a snuff film I was jacking to.</p><p>Uncomfortable.</p><p><img src="http://scripts.cgispy.com/image.cgi?u=njdmmoe" border="0" /> </p><p><a href="http://www.unhallowed.com/">www.unhallowed.com</a> <a href="http://thebigsexxxy.blogspot.com/">One Big SeXXXy Blog</a></p>

<p>"Hollaback Girl" - but maybe it's just because of the video. That,
and I love it whenever a band spells something in their song, because
then we get to learn stuff.<br />

<p>I have no idea how this became a guilty pleasure for me because I hated this group as a strapping lad. But most ABBA songs bring joy to me.</p><p>As my favorite group is STP, and the last concert that I went to for myself was Metalica, it shames me and I have to roll up the window when they come on, but I won't turn them off.</p>
I shucked it, and I shucked it, and I shucked it, i'm quite the mother shucker

<p>Oh and I forgot my favorite cheesy song ever....Faithfully by Journey. I am not really sure I am ashamed of that one though because every time I am drunk and find myself in Karaoke bar I belt that mother fucker out so well you'd think Steve Perry (singer, not intern) entered the room. Or at least that's the way it sounds to me....</p><p>"Loving a music man ain't always what it's supposed to be".....Can someone tell me what the hell it is supposed to be? </p>

Anything by the Village people and anything disco, love it. I wore out the Saturday Night Fever Soundtrack. I wanted so badly to go the club in brooklyn where it was filmed at I believe. I was really bummed when I found out the club was closed and being torn down and I never made it there to see the place. I'm also a big 80's fanatic as well.

Baby Come Back....by Pilot. The AM alarm clock went off playing that song in the 1970's at 5:30am. My dad and I went skiing, I was about 12 years old or so. Very nice memory. Every time I hear it, it brings me right back to that time. (insert Doogie Houser voice-over) 7 and a Switchblade

I beg to differ telecaster 7 but I dont think baby come back was by pilot. who the fuck is pilot anyways? I've never heard of such a group. I believe that song was by either ohio players or player. not sure right now. I know I used to love that song too, I would play all the time until I knew the words. I'm just drawing a blank on the group's name right now. I just know it was not pilot.

I'm sad and lonely too.
Wallflower, wallflower
Won't you dance with me?
I'm fallin' in love with you.
Just like you I'm wondrin' what I'm doin' here.
Just like you I'm wondrin' what's goin' on.
Wallflower, wallflower
Won't you dance with me?
The night will soon be gone.
I have seen you standing in the smoky haze
And I know that you're gonna be mine one of these days,
Mine alone.
Wallflower, wallflower
Take a chance on me.
Please let me ride you home.

Agreed, yet I have it on the ipod and listen to it all the time lately. I recently vowed to my wife that the day I retire I am going to wear my ipod (or whatever we use in 30 yrs) at work all day (go ahead, fire me on my last day you pricks) and listen to that song on repeat.
my guilty pleasures are mostly 80's crap, such as:
Do You Really Wanna Hurt Me
Too Shy - Kajagoogoo (in fact, I've listened to the embarassingly horrible White Feathers album twice in the past week, including once this morning)
Candy Girl - N.E.
jesus, this thread is made for me. I need to go take a shower now to wash off the shame.

What music do you listen to or like that most people would be shocked you listen to?
I have so many
Barry Manilow
Lionel Richie
All the boy bands from the 90's
Barry Manilow, Lionel Richie and even Johnny Mathis were some of my moms favorite growing up. She played music every Saturday and Sunday while she cleaned or cooked our big Italian Sunday dinners. I guess it just burned in my head.
Funny Story, my entire family went to see Manilow for my moms birthday. One of the first things he said was "Men, dont worry your not gay because your here, a lot of straight guys like my music" and then he went on to say "I will bet that most of you (Guys) didnt tell your friends you were coming to see me"

First off, I think this thread should be moved to the confessional so people can feel safe admitting some terrible music.
Ok, here we go. I will never turn off a Rihanna song if I flip my radio dial. Now I won't go out of my way to hear it, I've never bought a song or anything. But I swear to god, for some reason, if I hear a song by her I'm happier.
It started way back on that SOS song, then Umbrella got stuck in my brain. Now I like the 'just live your life (Oh!), ay ay ay' song.
I don't know what this says about me (fagola) and I think I listen to pretty good music other wise. It's just the production is so clean and her voice with it that I think I actually like it.
No one can judge me.

I'm ashamed to admit that I really like Straight Lines by Silverchair.

SIlverchair was the first band i really threw myself into. I have no regrets about it, i personally love their album Neon ballroom.
I have a true FML guilty pleasure song. I don't know anything else from the band, nor do i care to but the chorus of this song is too poppy to resist.

I will never turn off a Rihanna song if I flip my radio dial. Now I won't go out of my way to hear it, I've never bought a song or anything. But I swear to god, for some reason, if I hear a song by her I'm happier.
No one can judge me.
I never turn off a Rhianna song either and add Alicia Keys to that list as well.
Who cares if it's cool or not. Anyone who passes judgement on your musical tastes can kiss my ass.

At least they play instruments. Poorly but they try, its no so bad.
I also like hearing that Hot and Cold song. I think that's all of the shit.
Ooof, I have to get off the computer now before I disgust myself even further.

I'm glad I'm not alone with that Silverchair song. I never liked those guys, but that song is really good.
I actually thought they turned a corner and maybe the rest of the album would have been good, but then I heard another track, and it was shit.
Yeah, I too really liked that Silverchair song and hoped the rest of the abum would have similar quality but it was not to be.

Which one? "You're gonna wait too fat boy. Fat boy wait til tomorrow"?
It's damn catchy and informative on how even the obese must wait.

I think the Yellow Card song might (emphasis on the MIGHT) be more tolerable just heard and not seen. Personally, it's not my thing, but what really pushed it over the edge of intolerable was the douchebag with the fuckin' electric violin. What the shit is THAT?!? It sure doesn't sound like you can hear him on the track, so if I hadn't seen the video maybe I could have taken it.

Yeah, same here. With the last game of baseball's regular season, WGN always puts together a montage of clips from the Cubs' season set to a contemporary song. They usually doa great job even when the music isn't that great, but they used that song in 2007 and I had no idea who it was but I really liked it. I was kinda stunned to find out it was Silverchair and that they were even still around AND that the lead singer married Natalie Imbruglia, the lucky bastard.

At least Mr. 30 Something got to solo and was an actual part of the song. These Yellow Card dorks seem to be doing it just to have a gimmick even though you seemingly can't hear him at all.

Ok, I take back my previous statement. I like the CHORUS in this song. And by like I mean it gets stuck in my head. But this video, which is the first I'm seeing it, is laughably awful. Not as awful as me but still.

I really like "Change The World" by Eric Clapton.
