Don and Mike basically came out and said that the Junkies will be replacing Stern on mornings on wjfk which hopefully means they will also get Howard's spot on 105.7 the new WHFS or whatever they are billing the station as.

Not really a shock. Between the Junks, D&M, and an untested outside person they went with a show that was most recently on in the mornings. They currently make a small fortune with D&M in afternoon drive, and I'm sure taking one gamble was better than making two. Especially since no one knows if Don and Mike will continue with their show when their contract is up in 2 or 3 years. I still think that the better line up would have been to put D&M in the AM and the Junkies in the afternoon. I just have to think that the Junks rating will be nothing in comparrison with Sterns. They will need to really get a fire in their belly and go after Elliott.

The key is if they get on 105.7 as well for the junkies to succeed. They had huge ratings from Baltimore fans of the show when they were on mornings on hfs.

Sports Junkies way better then Mike and Mike and Elliott the Hyena

I first started to listen to the junkies when i moved down to DC when they were on at night and they were much better. Lucky for me the put Ron and Fez on after that but I do not think they are that great of a morning show. They just seem a better fit at night.

What JFK has to do is stop with that retarded mid day line up first of all. O'Reilly, the fastest hour in radio, James Brown was in there. Make up your mind and have a four hour show on.

I say.....dump O'Reilly when his contract is finally up..............Keep Don and Mike in afternoons, Junkies at night, and get someone in there to shake up the morning drive. Those idiots at Infinity can't find anyone to replace Howard. Very progressive thinking, I guess they thought Howard would be there for the next 30 plus years with his farting and BaBaBooey chants.

I already heard don and mike say they want to stay put on afternoon drive. inquiring minds would like to know? Thanks, to whoever answers my post. I wish jfk would get rid of that tool bill o'reilly. I can't stand to listen that voice it is so annoying I immediately change the station until its time for don & mike. also the show that took over the slot where ron and fez's use to be suck big fat donkey dicks. as always thanks for letting me vent people.
TTFN, THE G-LADY

Bill O'Reilly just signed a new contract w/ Infinity a couple weeks ago, and his PRIORITY is to be on in DC, for appearance and credibility's sake. Whoever the fuck finds that Falafel Fetish Ass Head credible! So he ain't goin nowhere!

What I REALLY wanna know is, did they ever plug those bullet holes at JFK, or are they considered part of the ventilation system now???

I don't mind this, as I've always liked the Junkies. Even though I still feel that half of them are mostly dead weight. And all of the poker talk is killing me.

I'll confess that I haven't reall listened to WJFK outside of the Junkies or occasionally O'Reilly in months. I don't even know who has nights on JFK now. And how has Don coped on-air with the death of his wife? I don't care to listen to that show at all, but I'm mildy interested in how that may have changed him.

Junkies dropped the "sports" a while ago.

I dig the junkies but can only listen to them for an hour until R&F come on. So I tape the Junks and listen at night. I would have given the morning slot to the Junks or D&M. D&M are proven in DC. They cannot fail in this town. They would kill at any time slot on WJFK. But there is good logic behind the Junkies as well..
