ahhaha that is a long story my freind.   My bad on the thread, I was too lazy to TRULY check it.   Just threw it out. ALL HAIL SUPER POSTERS AND BIG ASS VETERANS.  Here is the thing though, I've been listening since the .com days at WNEW.  True, it's no Ron & Ron,  but please that has to give me some cred around here.

I've called the show, listened to the show for years, proved my
posting skills cause I got a O&A show mention on Wackbag (Yes, I
know it's easier to be a wackbag poster than a ronfez.net poster) 
 but shouldn't I be entitled to some online name
recognition?  All I get is a Rude and Rude, the same as a listener
who signed up for XM yesterday and happened to hear the show and love
it?

Those titles have nothing to do with who you are on the shows or time as a member.  They're totally set on overall posts.  Because you didn't participate here you have that title.  It'll change once you  hit 100 posts I think and then again at like 5000 I think.A mod could tell you.  Most they can do is give you a quote under your name.

Christ give some newbies credit to making it to almost 500 on this board. If you can make it this far, welcome, you somehow passed the strict mustard. That's what makes a proud member of this board--you can't be just any asshole. You gotta pass mustard and it fucking takes a while. A long while. Even those who think they just might have maybe passed maybe are still in question. And that's what makes this board strong and if you are an accepted member be proud! I know I would be if I felt I really was. But the insecurity comes with knowing I still don't quite fit though I wish I did, dammit! The cool thing about R&F.net is it's an honor to be accepted. WP, where do you get that shit from?  I think most old time posters get along great with a lot of new posters.  If anything, all it takes to fit in is to contribute to the board and being able to take a joke when it comes your way.  There have been plenty of assholes around this site throughout its existence, but that isn't different from any other free messageboard.  The difference for this one is that it has become like a second/earth 2 family for a lot of us.  Another way to get to know people here is to actually make it out to an event as everyone is readily available to hanging out with the old and new members at these events.  Hell, Ron and Fez just chill at the events as well.  It's cool, yet nothing over the top or in your face.  I think the boys like it that way too.  The likes of Mikeyboy, JustJon, Pantera, Fallon and the lot do a great job with the whole setup.  Now if we can just get someone to ban Snoogans, Alkey and Beefy Grey.  Then this site would surely be top notch! <img src="http://members.aol.com/dxixrxt/spoon2.jpg" border="0" /> Get your balls out of your purse and step up to flavor!
