I couldn't find a thread on the movie cuz the search is bugged or something, so if there is one already please delete this.

I just wanted to say that I hated this movie. I didn't expect to see any acadamy award performances, but this was atrocious. The Rock was good in the Rundown, but really disappointed me here.

**Possible Spoilers**

The whole time he was acting all I could see was the Rock. At least in the Rundown he seemed to have a totally different character (and he actually acted in that movie). In Doom it's just so forced its unbearable.

And what the fuck happened to the plotline? This genetic altering crap? WTF is this? I wanted hell, with demons throwing fireballs and floating heads that did the same thing. It was practically a zombie movie. And the ending was...ugh fuck this movie. I went in expecting one thing and it ended up being another.

I don't think anyone, including the people who make them, takes these movies very seriously. They should all just go directly to DVD or...come free with a purchase of the video game itself.

The Rock seems like a really nice guy.

He was on "Punked" and came off like a dick, but that could just be the way they edited the show. Every other time I've seen him, he seems really cool.

That comic is legendary for the sheer insanity that spills out onto the page. Read it and yell the main character's lines out loud. GREAT source of stress relief.
