View Full Version : Contest Ideas
We all love "You Know You Need Unique New York" but I don't think it would be a bad idea to introduce some new and different contests to give away the great prizes of the R&F Show.
I've personally had a few great (in my deluded mind) ideas that never made it past Al Dukes.
What are your ideas? (by your, i mean the posters of rf.net)
Remember, of course, that they have to be good for the call-in format and the difficulty level need not be high.
Let's do some brainstorming, people...

They used to have this movie quote thing that Dumpy did. It was too easy but I think if the hardened up the quotes it might be fun to bring back.

not necessarily a contest idea,BUT, i did like the idea of a confession line (Billys Idea)and i don't think it would be ripping O&A off, it's a completely differnt thing

big ass cards should be used more like a Lotto like 5 numbers a given out and they have ten minets to call in each ont gets a prize compared to the time they called in except the last one
like 333 4532 6432 123 462 call in now and 333 called in 1st 123 called in 2nd and so on and the prizes would decrease like concert tickes for number 1 wwf from number 2 and nets tickets for number 3
number 333 its the way to be

The confessional line sounds like a good idea, and as we've seen in the confessional, the topics cover a wide range of things and can be pretty interesting.

thank you for your input. I think it would give the listeners a great way to vent (esepcially after a hard day) and make for some great radio

They keep teasing it, but I'd love to play the Fezzie Wrestling Trivia Challenge.
The unfortunate thing about that contest is that only a few of us (with no social lives) possess the requisite knowledge, while the other 95% or so of the audience would be alienated.

i'd like more listener trivia/jeopardy thingies like they did with remote control. If there was like a movie one I might call in to play (phone or in studio) for no prize at al.
