Solie was probably the best overall.
I couldn't take Vince, and the best thing to come out of the Bret Hart screwjob was that Vinnie Mac gave up the announcing gig. There's only so many times you can hear "1, 2, 3 yes he got him! It's over...oh wait, it was just a one-count..." before it got annoying, real quick.
As for best current announcer, I guess I'd say Jim Ross. But he's gotten VERY tedious as of late. "STONE COLD! STONE COLD! STONE COLD!", "scalded dog", "limbertail", "beaten like a government mule"....enough with the hick dialogue! He was SO much better than this in the early 90s.
