Perrynoid could never top "FAT BABY" song which is a classic.That song
could play on the radio and become cult material.It's in league with
the works of Mary Prankster(Maryland/Vagina area),the Dead
Milkmen(Philly),the Ramones,David Bowie.He's going thru LIFE CHANGES is
my best guess.He has called in to R&F show consistently for years.

There isn't anything on the Hideout myspace group about it. Too bad the old Hideout board is dead. Their new station sponsored site blows. Oh, and Moe... the Hideout w/ El Jefe & J Dubs was the show that followed R&F at 11PM when they were in Washington (for a while, at least). You'll hear J Dubs when he comes to NY to get his Bucs tattoo after losing to Fez a few weeks ago. J Dubs is often refered to as one of the best producers R&F ever had.

El Jefe and Mikey D had a thing about the bumper music some time in 2003 (or was it 2004?) and J Dubs was a great producer.The Hideout is pretty good, it'd a tad hacky compared to Ron and Fez, but better than just about every other Radio show out there. It does get a bit GAY sometimes /Gitterbug!WJFK didn't realize what a jem they had with those guys.So, anyone hear the announcement? I listened to the show last night.  They postponed the announcement as Dubs put it, "for legal reasons."I don't recall them saying that they were going to make it tonight (Friday) but they definitely only spent two seconds on the matter last night.I hope they come to XM as well.  I think I have every O&A worst of memorized by now.  I am not sure if that is a crack at O&A or myself for listening to XM 14 hours a day but I used to enjoy listening to the hideout and still catch it sometimes when I am sitting in front of the computer from 7-11.5000.

I can't imagine their contract being that huge.  Maybe in terms of their careers yes, but in terms of other radion heavy weights.......I am sure it is peanuts.If they come to the extreme channel, I would be pleased.  I am not really sure if I see it as a 202 show but then again how many shows are?

They did move the open door policy from Thursday to Friday (starting tonight) and did say that the move was related to the announcement, so that implies that they might announce it tonight, but don't hold your breath.They did give Chunks a BMW to replace his Pink Ford Escort (The "Pink Monster" that J Dubs shat on last month) as a graduation gift. Reminds me of the BMW they made Wonderboy think he won.

I guess  I missed Crazy Jen??? on cosmic circus,or did she not do
the interview? I heard a few days ago Opie mention that Golden Tickets
were a bad idea,and hints that they were not going to try to convert
more Commercial Radio shows into XM shows. I don't know what went into
his thought processes,but I'm sure a lot of hopefuls will have the rug
pulled out from under them feeling,that it ain't that easy to get to
the yellow brick road/Sat Radio.Bypassing commercial radio is just that
much further away for some long-timers in the bizz.

I have an inside tip on the announcement:J Dubs is going to start putting a lot of Mayo on his sandwiches. Sort of like Danny or whoever it is on th O&A show who puts way too much mayo on stuff.

Actually,with all the stand-up comedians,Norton and friends know,XM could start a "Comedy Central" style show like O&A have already been doing without NAMING it.O & A may not have as many celeb guests,but on the other side,Stern has an open distaste for stand-up comics on his air,except for CERTAIN ones like big names.Unfortunately Stern's taste in musicians and comedians are paint by numbers(ratings),whereas O & A seem willing to bend a little more at least concerning comedy.I'm still always sickened by O&A & Stern when they boast how quickly they throw away CD's that unknown artists send,even though I KNOW that getting bombarded with thousands of submissions/mailings isn't their problem to sort out or listen to for possibly giving someone an appearance or airplay or mention.I know ,I'm still living in CANDYLAND.
