I believe she's making her debut at Genesis or at the next tapings, and it's believed that she's the woman in the Raven storyline that everyone has been saying is "distracting" him.

TNA has always had the midnight replays on Monday nights.
Earl Hebner was not at TNA, that was his twin brother, Dave.

<p>Well since no one seems to report the goings on of TNA here's some updates</p><p>jim cornette is the new face of TNA management , which i guess is their name for G.M. </p><p>jarrett had cheated to win the title at slammiversary but cornette took the title and now no one is the champ, which is good cause as many have stated double j is the triple h of TNA</p><p>aj styles and chris daniels are the new tag champs only problem i have with that is like a month ago they were fueding with each other and then samoa joe for the x division title and then out of nowhere are a tag team and automatically get a title shot ??</p><p>senshi (formerly low ki) is the new x division champ defeating sonjay dutt in a triple threat with samoa joe after steiner took out joe with a chair shot</p><p>kevin nash has returned and his goal is to destroy the X division, dont really see the point of this </p><p>james gang vs team 3D has been interesting and next week it will be all of team 3D (brother ray, devon and runt) vs the james gang and one other of their choice, im thinking with all of the dx stuff going on and the james gang have done a few dx crotch chops lately i'm thinking the 3rd guy will be x pac, since he has appeared on a few shows</p><p>anyone have any idea on what happened with jeff hardy ????</p><p><img height="100" src="http://home.comcast.net/~bob80/RFnetCougarJake13.jpg" width="300" border="0" /></p>

That's basically the only reason. It was to set them apart from everyone else and be an eye catcher. It's also apparently a much better suited ring for the X-Division because of the angles and the tighter ring rope tension that they can jump off of for aerial moves.<br />
FreshJ
08-03-2006, 07:37 PM
I know it is not that popular, but I think that TNA needs a Second hour to really get things going, by the time you get into it the show is practically over and they can only show like 4 matches with all of the stuff going on. Maybe then they could actually develop a following.<br />
SpicyMcHaggis
08-03-2006, 08:08 PM
A second hour has been in the works for quite awhile since they've been drawing 1.0's for Spike on that timeslot from what I've read. If they move them to a primetime slot with just one hour next year and the ratings are even higher, I'm guessing an additional hour will be added on by next summer.<br />

As far as Angle goes, I really hope he's the one to finally beats Samoa Joe. </p><p>Don't get me wrong, I think Joe is a great wrestler (even though he looks so pudgy) but why do they have to give a "Goldberg" type undefeated winning streak? See the national television debut of "Enemy" from Fozzy<br />

On Thursday, October 19, on TNA "iMPACT!" on SpikeTV at 11pm ET, Chris
Jericho and his band "Fozzy" will be featured in a music video for the
song "Enemy" from their "All That Remains" album.<br />
<br />
The national television debut of the video will feature Jericho and
Fozzy along with the stars of TNA Wrestling just days before the "Bound

<br />
TNA Wrestling directors David Sahadi and Kevin Sullivan, who have
worked with Jericho in the past, will be producing the music video for
the "iMPACT!" broadcast.<br />

yawn. i thought they had a great thing going with Joe stealing the world title belt but they runied it by "making" him give it back. i have always thought of this angle as being a great way for a guy to step up without anyone putting him over. the "former" champ never lost but yet the guy with the belt never "won" it. these are the different things TNA should be doing. wouldnt it be great if Joe came to fight Jarrette and Double J could win his own belt back but yet still be intorduced as the world champ and Joe having the belt and be introduced as the challenger? i think so. <br />

<p>First off, none of these shows are overly great. </p><p>But, yeah, Smackdown is absolutely the best one at this point. </p><p>You get 3-4 good matches each week. Guys like Benoit, Booker, Finlay, London & Kendrick, Regal, Kennedy, and even MVP have been consistently delivering for a while now. </p><p>The only really bad things about the show are Batista and the Boogeyman/Miz feud. Batista is ok, though, when they put him in with someone who's a good wrestler. I just finished watching the episode from this past week and the Triple Threat for the title (Batista/Booker/Finlay) was actually pretty good because Finlay knew how to carry Batista.</p><p> </p><p>Impact is hit or miss a lot of times but they have enough guys I like to keep it interesting between Angle, Christian, Styles, Daniels, Abyss, and so on. </p><p>ECW has no direction, but a lot of times you get a good 20 minute RVD match as the main event, and a nice CM Punk match in addition on most episodes. </p><p>And RAW is absolutely abysmal. There's almost no good wrestling and the angles are horrible. DX blows, I hate Randy Orton, Cena is as bad if not worse than Batista, and there's no mid-card...they just keep redoing the same combination of Jeff Hardy/Johnny Nitro/Carlito/Shelton Benjamin each week with no story to it. </p><p>So I stand by:</p><p>Smackdown > Impact > ECW > RAW</p><p> </p>

<p>I watched a bit of Impact last week and they already were planting seeds of ANgle vs Cage. Kurt came out and forced christian into a cage so that he wouldn't interfere in Tomko's match.</p><p> That PPV sounds very boring. Angle vs. Joe was probably good, but the rest doesn't interest me at all. The Impact before the PPV was pretty slow, nothing that would make me think about buying. </p>

basham brothers are in TNA
After the match, Jeremy Borash was in the back waiting for Christy Hemme, but was first interrupted by a ticked off Big Poppa Pump. Steiner asked JB where Christian Cage and Tomko were to help him in the match. and then stated that back in the day when the Steiner Brothers were tag champs, his brother Rick would NEVER leave him out there alone. Christy Hemme then walked up and told JB that her first two teams didn't matter, because they weren't who she wanted. The Voodoo Kin Mafia then came in and Christy told them that she was going to the ring to make an announcement. Once in the ring, VKM followed, but were jumped from behind by Christy's new tag team, who she called "Basham and Damaja".

"Scott Steiner was scheduled to undergo surgery on his trachea today in San Juan, Puerto Rico. Steiner was injured yesterday in taking a kick to the throat from Apolo in a tag team match where Steiner & Robert Roode faced Jeff Jarrett & Apolo. He seemed fine after the match, but at 2 a.m., was having trouble breathing and was rushed to the hospital.
There was no estimate until after surgery is completed regarding how long Steiner would be out of action, but the preliminary word was that he's not expected back in the ring for a while.
Steiner had just started teaming with brother Rick for a few matches against Team 3-D, including at the 6/17 Slammiversary PPV."

I think it was that guy who used to do interviews with them, now I think he has his own promotion that usually has TNA wrestlers in it. Edit: Hermie Sadler is the dudes name.
Don't forget Johnny Damon was on a few episodes of Impact as well.

he was the champ but they decided that he didnt win fairly and the title was vacated
as for chris harris he was a last minute replacement for jeff jarrett who has not been wrestling due to the sudden death of his wife

According to the Wrestling Observer, Konnan and Ron Killings quit TNA. I know Killings has been wanting to leave, but I guess this is the final nail in the coffin.

As reported earlier, both Ron Killings and Konnan have quit TNA.
Konnan has been unhappy with TNA for awhile now. He recently stated in an interview with Alex Marvez that he thought TNA would help him with the costs of his recent kidney transplant, but that they backed out of their word. Konnan was in Orlando yesterday for the TNA Impact taping but ended up leaving in the morning and flying himself back home. Konnan has not been released yet but LAX has already started to be de-emphasized despite being one of TNA's most over acts with the live crowd. Homicide and Hernandez apparently did not know Konnan quit until after arriving at the Impact taping. Homicide did cut promos backstage, so it appears that TNA may give him a chance at being the team's mouthpiece.
Konnan's long association with AAA may also have been a point of tension between he and TNA. AAA is now considering expanding into the U.S. and Konnan is a booker and part of AAA management. TNA was aware that if it came down to it, Konnan would likely stay with AAA over TNA. AAA's expansion plans may have also factored into Konnan finally deciding to walk out of TNA.
Ron Killings requested his release from TNA prior to the Slammiversary PPV and did not fly to Orlando yesterday for the Impact taping (nor was he booked). Killings has not been granted his release yet but has been unhappy with his character direction for awhile now.

Joe wins the X-Division belt on one of the episodes of Impact. A Major WTF there.

The only one I'd miss would be Konnan because he was a great voice piece for LAX. Who could they use to replace him?

I'm sure they'll just hire some sports figure to be their mouth piece or something. It seems LAX has fallen ever since they lost the belts to 3-D, but they still have a strong fan base.
Shit, I enjoy them alot more than 3-D. (I was going to add "and every other tag team they have", but I can't even name another team)
Edit: Motor City Machine Guns (Sabin & Shelley), are also good. Shelley moreso.

Well since Sabin is out of the X-Division title picture, The MCMG should definitely become contenders for the TNA Tag Team Titles.

how could you forget the great basham and damaja , formerly the basham bros ???
but seriously VKM, James gang or whatever the fuck they decide to call themselves this week are still there
a returning steiner bros would have been nice but big poppa pump got hurt, although i was intrigued at the 1/2 steiner bros/ 1/2 road warrior combo

Well as far as tag teams go, here's the list...
Motor City Machine Guns
Team 3-D
Steiner Brothers
Basham and Damaja
Voodoo Kin Mafia
LAX
Serotonin (Havok and Martyr)
Here's who I'd like to also see..
- Tomko and Giant Bernard (A-Train, Albert): they've already won the IWGP tag titles
- Sonjay Dutt and Jay Lethal (If they decide to turn against Nash and drop the gimmicks he gave them and form a single unit with matching attire as all good tag teams should have)
- A reunited AJ Styles and Christopher Daniels as The Lords of the Ring (no gimmick, just a tag team name)
