Speedy was my favorite as a kid. I even named a hamster after him. Too bad I have no idea how I'd feel about Speedy now that I'm an adult. He's no longer "PC". That kind of crap pisses me off!

Speedy was my favorite as a kidSpeedy's two sidekicks were pretty cool too... i think there was a fat and skinny one and they be chillin all day sittin in the shade with their big hats

What I don't get is that, if anything, the Speedy character disproves a negative stereotype.this just reminded me of Archie Bunker when he's talking to Mike regarding his grandson. Mike and Gloria were moving away and Archie was getting upset and worried about who was gonna teach the grandson things about life like: fishing, bowling, and walking fast through a peurto rican neighborhoodnot the exact words but close... still makes me laugh anyway
