Anybody catch the TV Land marathon of What's Happenin' over the weekend? This was one of my favoirite shows back in the day. It still made me chuckle at times. The guys wore the tightest pants ever.

I left my tv on the What's Happening marathon all day Sunday, but they
only seemed to show the later episodes, after they moved into the
apartment.

The Doobie Bros episode was one of my favorites. "Which Doobie you be?"

I saw the episode where Rerun tried out for the Bridge Burger (or whatever the name was) spokesman, and they gave it to Dee, who being the awesome pain in the ass she was, ended up losing out to Shirley, who pretended to be her Momma. Cousin Oliver and Tom Bradford made guest appearances. I also saw the episode where Dee invited an escape convict to stay with them, the one where Raj couldn't go to the party of the year cuz Momma had to work. He snuck out and of course, Momma found out and wanted to whip him. Rerun offered his belt, and it was so fucking long.

I set my tivo for 7pm for the Doobie episode. I was not dissapointed. Why doe's Raj or Rog have to ask for the band members names during the interview if he is such a big fan? Does the Soda Shop serve ice in any of their beverages? The drinks look luke warm and gross and probably have a few of Shirley's hairs in them.

Did they show the episode with "The Gibbons Kids"?? They were a bunch o' little kids that could sing & dance. They appeared on the same episode of The Gong Show as Rerun.

Man, I would love to see that episode now. I remember thinking that those little kids could SANG.
