I live in central NJ and I keep seeing a local TV commercial for Freehold Mitsubishi.  The spot features two guys, one named Angelo Soprano.  The other guy is sitting at his desk and puts on his sunglasses when he talks to the camera as well as flexing his bicep muscle.  Who would want to buy a car from these guys?  One late payment=Cement shoes...

I crack up everytime I see that. Eveyrtime I wait for that big schmuck to class it up with that muscle flex. I laughing my ass off right now typing this. It's comedy of the highest order.

Ehh...don't blame them...they're car salesmen not network execs...ive been all around the country and im happy to say my hometown isn't alone in awful local dealership commercials...if anything I would say the furniture stores REALLY stink...has anyone seen the ad for "crazy eddie"...i mean everyone has one, the "crazy" furniture guy who's prices are *INSANNNNEEEEEE*....well our crazy guy dresses up in women's clothing. Out of sheer curiosity Missy and I went into the store to check it out...met Crazy Eddie himself, who proceeded to juice us for $500 on a cheap sofa set....Gotta love em....

That's actually Crazy Joe. And my father met him, they went to cardiac rehab together a couple years ago. Seems like a nice guy.What happened to the old Freehold Mitsubishi commercials? "It's the REEEEEAAAAALLLLLLL DEEEEEAAAALLLLL!" With the old vaguely latin/arab looking guy? When did everything there turn all "sopranos"And has anyone else seen the commercials for I think the Jewel Case? With the two guys on the couch watching football, and one of the guy's girlfriends has all this ridiculous jewelery on and she waiting on this guy and the other guy's girlfriend has nothing and she's just giving him dirty looks the whole time? That is the most ridiculous commerical I've ever seen, worse than the one this thread is about.

 I don't know why, but I really fuckin' hate this commercial every time I see it... bleh.  And why the fuck does he put on his sunglasses to talk to the "Angelo Soprano" ????

Wasn't Crazy
Eddie the old electronics store chain that went bankrupt 10-20 years
ago and the Crazy Eddie guy went on the lam to avoid embezzlement
charges?

Speaking of local Jersey commercials remember the ones for Jason's furniture? "Hey, where'd everybody go?""They went to Jason's furniture!!"I saw that guy eating pizza one day at Squan Tavern and I asked him for his autograph on a napkin. He actually wrote "where'd everybody go?" on the napkin.

It's Crazy Joe and he's a mean motherfucker when it comes to money.We went in there and Jeff decided he wanted a sofa set.  We just want to put a deposit down and hold the furniture there till we move.  Crazy Joe himself comes over and says "he doesn't usually do this" but takes a deposit from us to hold the sofa.  All happy smiley wacky crazy joe!Then Jeff decided he didn't want the sofa.  I call Crazy Joe up and ask for the deposit back.  He tells me "tough shit you signed the contract".  I offer to let him keep $100.  He laughs at me, then faxes me a copy of the receipt we signed, at the bottom of the page in tiny letters "non-refundable".  He laughed at me, then hung up on me, when I called him back and said, how about you keep $250?

How about the "My Kid's Room" commercial with the weird looking old white guy with the afro? Nothing horrible with the commercials, but the guy looks ridiculous.

That kids room one freaks me out too.  The petland ones are'nt far behind, but for my money, Angelo's sidekick still kills me.  I like it when Angelo say "Now back to the studio"  What fucking studio?

I fucking HATE that Freehold Mitsubishi commercial...especially the Angelo Soprano guy and the muscle flexing guy. Just awful.The other commercials I hate are the Room Plus ones with the guy who looks like a cross between Robert Reed and Bob Ross with that afro who says "Just 'round the corner!". Horrible horrible commercials.

What I find funny about the damn freehold mitsubishi commercial is that just a few months ago they were running another ad with "Angelo Soprano" as a reporter but it was a totally different guy than who is in this new one, do they think we wouldn't notice??????
