This show is bringing back lots of great memories. I used to listen to them (minus Heather Young, she wasn't around back then, it used to be Julie Williams). Anyway, they were Hooters on the Radio and Fez hosted the show with them. It was hysterical. It's too bad Fez isn't there now, he had great chemistry with them.

I am not really digging these Radio Chicks, but the show is still good.  And before all the Staples Haters come out against him, remember this.  NO ONE else on the show has ever shared so much about their personal lives, knowing where it might go with comments and callers.Like your lives are any better.  Billy's doing his best with his situation.

I wish the R&F board op would take some time over the break next week & go here=The problem w/ the mismatch of audio levels has been discussed to death on other boards.Yes, a compressor/limitier in the chain would be nice, for all we know there's on in place, but if so it's minimal at best, and probably for good reason, as terrestrial radio is compressed to un-listenability. My guess is that w/ digital, the noise floor is so low that it would be kicking in every time there was more then a split second of quiet, which is often on the show. It would certainly help when something thats cranked up too hot gets fired, but you need a real fast attack time on the compressor to get those, and that fast time would also very quickly raise up the noise just as fast when it's silent/quiet.An FM type compressor, if on XM, Ron would just say, 'check this out' shut up, and youd hear this 'whooosh' as the compressor read no level, kicks in and starts cranking up the non-volume, filling the silence w/ noise.=There has been intermittent audible interference type noises going off, Ron commented on those today, they are audible, but he said they were super loud, they aren't that loud, but they are there.

 Sorry, I didn't know it was already done to death... just seems a bit crazy that they can put a man on the moon and they can't... would a gate help?  I'm guessing more trouble.  There's got to be smart folks working in the engineering dept @ xm... it's just a drag that the show occassionally makes my ears want to be exploding (ron & po torturing harry today was particularly brutal).
