I watched "Hoosiers" on acid. Every time a team scored their uniforms would light up like neon lemons. It was fun.

Yeah , I love Fear and Loathing too, and ive had the pleasure of smoking ganja, doing blow, and E to it MANY times!  But i havent  had the pleasure of watching acid to it *little hard to find these days where i live*.  But ive seen the movie too many times, and i like the book better.Although out of the two times i did drop some syd, i watched yellow submarine! *very interesting*.2 hits of purple-dot, a few years back:I remember looking out my window at night, the shades were down, but i could see though the window, and a tree in the middle of my yard grew larger and larger, and the whole area was lit with some kind of blue light, and a squirrel in the top of the tree dropped an acorn, and it fell down to the ground making a whistling noise and when it hit the ground it exploded, and little sparks starting floating through my brain.  That stuff HAS to cause brain damage!

I had some good good acid a while ago in college -It was Mr. Clean blotter paperI remember watching the start of the first Twin Peaks show - and the old lady started talking about how you have to chew the wood and some shit about the pulp of the wood.  All i know is her face started morphing into the devil and i saw her start to chew the wood and it freaked me out so much i had to turn the channel

I had forgotten about the Dali piece, I may have had it on Laserdisc [sheesh remember those] or at least part of it as a Dali Docu piece. I'd throw in 'Nosferatu' and the original Fritz Lang 'Metropolis' and what the hell all the old Edison and Meliere [sp?] stuff; forget the exact title but its 'Voyage to The Moon' or something like that in French, made more then a century ago; the one with the spaceship crashing into the moon eye, as tributed by Smashing Pumpkins, Tom Hanks in the Apollo miniseries, and others...The Wall is indeed trippy as is Tommy by The Who; they both miss the mark, and I think even each artist Waters and Townshend respectively, have had their say about what worked and what didn't; however, seeing Keith Moon in the Fiddle About scene and Tina Turner in The Acid Queen as a child in theatre that Mom took us to [she had no idea] freaked me the fuck out big time.The Ann Margaret scene is etched in my DNA

I have to agree with Yellow Submarine. I saw this movie about 6 years before I smoked any pot, and 14 years before I did any acid (I think I was around 5 or 6 when I saw it). The images of that damn big blue talking finger, and the little guy who kept popping up out of holes, still stick with me. I've only seen it that one time, and I still remember how trippy it was. I think it's the movie that defined "trippy" for me.

I Love "Oldboy", but Andalusian Dog is really short, and i also only remember the film for the "eye" scene.  However I do admit it was pretty bad-ass for its time though! Coincidentally i just watched Todd Brownings Freaks again last night for the first time in a while.  I enjoyed it, but i wish there were more scenes where the "freaks" were getting there revenge!  *P.S. in the Ramones "Pinhead" they F'd it up by saying "gabba gabba" when it is really "gooba gabba we accept you we accept you one of us"  CREEPY!!!<img height="51" src="http://www.ronfez.net/messageboard/tiny_mce/plugins/emotions/images/ohmy.gif" width="55" border="0" />

Heavy Metal, Koyaanisqatsi and Evil Dead. What with the
scene at the end of Evil Dead and everyone melting into pools of
colour, the camera flying through the woods, and the way it ends makes
my skin crawl.
