MOTHERFUCKING SUFFOCATION!!!!<img height="403" src="http://www.pitfather.com/spaw/images/news/Suffocation.jpg" width="564" border="0" />Man on the left is Mike Smith.  One of the reasons I picked up my sticks.  Man on the right is Terrance Hobbs, awesome guitarist.  Suffocation is THE MOST copied sound in Death Metal, hands down.  Fucking destroy.

I have to say that I'm really not looking that forward to Earl's show.  He's not gonna play SUffocation or many other Metal bands with black members.  He's gonna play this shit mix of Rock, punk and avant-garde/jazz infused bullshit that I'm not interested in.  Bands you see people in tight sweaters and fag haricuts lining up to see.Maybe I'm wrong.  I will pay him the respect of checking it out if I'm up, but he's not gonna play Metal. I know that already.I do feel bad for him in a way though.  I heard O&A already trashing his show and setting up ways to talk aobut how bad it's gonna be.  Give the fucking guy a break O&A.  He's not your whipping boy anymore.

Hey Perry, i like your Bad Brains logo, hope Earl plays some, i played in a band called the resistors, and played a couple of times in the early days of DC punk with the Brains, It was a place called the Hard Art it was an art gallery by day and at night they took evrything off the walls and opened it up for the local bands. for two bucks you got BB the Resistors, Rhoda and the bad seeds, and the two bucks went for a beer run. Hope the Earl brings back some old ones remember your history kids.

Earl has said he would  be playing the brains!The Bad Brains have influenced a lot of metal / punk / rock / bands thru out the years and have combined all styles of music that really created a unique sound that has been lifted from just about every "heavy" band since.

All I heard was Lenny Kravitz and Prince and Earl doing his thank
yous. I really hope that this shows up again on air or via download on
Audible. I would give my hard earned money to the BRC any day of the
week. I am really excited about the whole prospect of another
show next week. Being an avid lover of music and not liking but
respecting all styles of music, I love being opened up to bands I have
never heard before. I really want to hear the influence that R & B,
Funk and Soul had on Black rock. 
What other artists were played? If anyone has a playlist, post it.
