First, let it be known I did not post this in the other "Lost Season 2" thread in fear of accidentally running across spoilers. Promo's during Monday Night Football have already spoiled several story lines.

Here's my problem.

I recently received the first season via "NetFlix" and loved it. It took me about two weeks to finish the entire season at which time season 2 was already in it's fourth or fifth episode. Does anyone have a suggestion(s) as to how I may obtain the episodes I missed this year in order to catch up with the current on-going season? Any help would be appreciated.

I have been led to "BitTorrent" to obtain the first episodes of this
season I have missed. It is terribly slow so I'm going to try an
old, disease ridden favorite, Kazaa Lite.

So far I have 52.2 % of Episode 1 downloading via
BitTorrent which has taken about 12 hours and running. I have
tried multiple sources and have found all of them to have just about
the same transfer rates.

Kazaa worked splendidly! I now have episodes 1-5 in MINT
condition. I plan to watch the rest of this season's episodes via
the same medium. They are all commercial free and again, the
quality is fantastic.

If anyone finds themself in
the position I was in or if you simply need a particular episode then
contact me and I'll file transfer over whatever you seek.

Lastly,
is it possible to burn the episodes I download onto a DVD and have them
play (on my regular television through my DVD player) as they would on the computer? I'm guessing some form
of conversion would be involved. Any help would be appreciated!

Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if the last episode of this season is already on the Internet somewhere, considering everything else makes it's way there (TV and movies) weeks to months before they actually make it to the screen.

TV is considered a gray area still. The MPAA is trying to put tv under its umbrella with movies so they can go after more people on the internet, but they haven't really gone after anyone for tv yet.

Update:

This is where I'm at. I have all 9 episodes of this season in mint condition. I have discovered a way to burn them onto DVD's that a regular player can read (hence creating my own box set of season 2 ready to watch on any computer or television set).

I ran into one last problem. I really hope someone can help. I have a feeling it is either something real simple or just an obstacle that is impassable.

When I play the show in my regular DVD player (watching it on a regular TV) the format ratio is off. To put it simply, the episodes are letter boxed to the point where it is cutting too much off the top and bottom of each episode.

If possible how can I fix this to play normally (or just better)? Any help would be appreciated.
