On Saturday December 17, at Calico Jack's in Manhattan, 800 2nd Ave - between 42nd and 43rd.
Now, you may be asking yourself what time is it at? I'll say
9pm and you'll show up later. It happens for all our
events. If you want to show up late, feel free, but then you'll
be wasting time at the open bar. Yes, I said OPEN BAR! In case you missed it...

For 3 hours - from 9 to 12 - you will have an open bar for draft
beer and mixed drinks (but not shots) to get properly shitty in the
yule season. Now how much would you pay to spend quality
time with the quality folks from RonFez.Net? A bracelet for the
open bar will cost you $25, but I know you fuckers drink far more than
that in a shorter period of time, so what a bargain!Plus our
gift here at RonFez.Net to you attendees will be food!
Yummy! This is not dinner but tapas/hors d'vours type shit.Hope to see you all there!

however, there is a chance I may bring a friend of mine that was a big
R and F fan from back in the WNEW days.  This person isn't much of
a drinker so my question is this, Is the $25 cover mandatory (possibly

their own tabs?

lesson all to well in such circumstances.  I have had numerous bad
experiences with getting poor or false information regarding parties or
events only to learn the real deal at the door.  Truth of the
matter is that I trust the info I get here in this thread more than
that of whatever nimrod answers the phone at the bar.  And yes,
I've even gotten bad info from so called "managers".

Since parking is now a problem I want to know if anyone is
interested in coming to the party with myself to split the cost of a
parking lot which is from what I understand right by Calico
Jack's.  No need to worry about gas or tolls, I have that
covered.  I am looking to fairly split the cost of parking my
vehicle.  I will provide a ride to and from the party. I
can pick up and drop off people in the Wayne and Fort Lee areas. 
Nothing in between, I will be in those two vicinities right before the

I've parked at some funky places with some funky prices you hand over the keys, and basicaly start praying...=No worries; what I want is to see peeps, especialy peeps I havent met before. Everybody go, no worries. Someone don't drink? Neither do I, and have a blast every time. Someone's shy? Fuck it, I just go in and start asking peeps who the hell are you, and I meet the R+F peeps that way. And some weirdos, but usually the weirdos, luckily, Are the R+F peeps.Everybody bloody go.

I openly admit I tossed the first pin in the air. Upwards so it wouldn't bean anyone in the head. Kris and I had a great time last night.  ESD has me convinced I beat that mofo Alkey in the drinking contest.  Even though my own girlfriend disagreed!!!  It was great to finally see the boys again (R/F) and welcome them back to NY (as if they haven't been here a couple months now), and chattin with Billy Mikey D and Harry about hockey and the show of old and new.  It was also great to see Funk get smashed, while Mikeyboy sipped his shirley temples.  That MB is one crazy cat!  All in all, great time hanging with everyone, even Samurai Fig!And no Moe, it was a great time bitch!

I just want to add this was the absolute best NYC open bar deal I
had ever come across.  $25 and I was drinking Heineken bottles the
entire time, I think around 10.  I figured for $25 I'd be drinking
warm keg beer out of a paper cup, I was most certainly wrong with that
assumption.  I also found a parking garage right around the block
for a $10 flat rate.  That along with the time I had made this
night absolutely terrific.  Great job. Also,
meeting Ron and Fez was off the scale cool.  Ronny B is too cool
and Fez was very charming.  Funny thing was one of the friends I
came with pointed out Ron immediately.  He has no idea about the
message board or ever seen a pic of Ron, just said to me that had to be
the "presence" he had always painted a picture of in his mind.  He
was right.

Hella time - so much fun - definately worth the trip - (DC folks: no excuses when Greyhound is only $40 round trip!) - It was a blast seeing everyone again, and meeting so many new folk - Mike from Brooklyn, ESD, Spoon, Alkey, Silera, Mikey D., Billy, Hosp, Justice for All, Cruel Circus, Just Jon, Bobby, Mikeyboy, FMJeff, Missy, Best in Show, Patty, Big A Fez, Harry, Bill, Paulie, Bobby, Earl...shit, too many - difficult to tear away at 2:30 - Fez looked like a million bucks - Ron and the Radio Shark outside killed - Mikey, Jon and the Mods pulled together a great, great gig - Jon: don't sweat it, I ain't worried - proud to be part of that DC crew (Kathleen, Brian and my traveling willburry, Bobo - ALL classy folk), and proud to be part of the larger gaggle of miscreants - I am relieved that spending my teenage years beer bonging Everclear punch wasn't wasted - finally, my Christmas lesson I can pass along: no shame in losing a drinking contest to I.A.
