Does everyone have to say this before they hang up on air now? It's so annoying! What the fuck does it mean anyway? What are they punching?

I think "punching out" is an O&A thing. I love it when someone says "Seeya", because you know they are a (pre XM) R&F fan.

And... I hate the sound that happens when someone hangs up. I think it has something to do with the digital system they have on XM. It's a small price to pay, though... to be hearing the boys on such an unregulated forum!!!!

"Punching out" is an O and A thing and it means they are punching out of their imaginary jet before they get the crash. Bad callers usually punchout to late and end up in a flaming wreck...I don't hate "punching out", but it is annoying when I hear it on Ron and Fez. To me It's just as annoying to hear "seeya" on O and A.

The term  "Punching Out" is a reference to Top Gun. I believe it
is mainly referencing the scene where Goose dies (you say, punching out
because your joke died.)

Anyone remember in the oldern days of O&A punchin out didn't exist and "you guys suck" was the overused term.  These days were of course also the Ron and Fez exclusive "seeyah!" days.
